RELISTING FROM INVENTORY - GTC NOT AVAILABLE IN SOME CATEGORIES???

I am relisting seasonal merchandise from "Inventory", several items have come up with a disclaimer at top of listing that GTC is NOT available for this or that clothing category! Listing with AUCTION is the only thing that is allowed. Why is this happening?  I thought the new big PUSH was for GTC and now I can't use it when I want to!

brian@ebay  you may want to have this looked into.

A sudden thought.  Check that the category is valid.  It may be that your inventory item has a category that was changed or removed during the last shuffle for clothing.

Hi @vintageista, I think the advise @dtexley3 gave in this message is correct. Try re-selecting the category, or changing the category and then changing it back to the category you want, to see if that resolves the issue. Let me know!
