I can't add an item to my watch list or purchase an item

clicked to add an item to my watch list and I keep getting a page stating   

It’s not you. It’s us.

Our server is down, but we’ll have things back to normal soon. 

It has been this way for the past few hours.  Tried clicking to purchase and item with the same results!

I am able to add items to my watch list without any issue.

If you are still experiencing a problem, try explicitly signing out and signing back in. Or restarting your browser. Or try rebooting your machine.

Which browser or app are you using? Try another browser (or switch to the app). If you can, try another computer or phone.

That should help to narrow down if the problem is with your particular browser setup, your computer, with eBay, or the network.
