I'm getting used to the new listing tool.
I generally like it except for one thing:
When you edit a photo, it is taking way too long to complete. The spinning circle attacks you and keeps spinning and spinning and spinning. Finally, it completes its mission but it is taking an average of 3 to 5 minutes. This is unacceptable. And sometimes a photo disappears and you have to upload it again.
If you are editing multiple photos at the same time, you must wait until all the spinning circles stop.
And you can't list an item once the spinning begins. If you try, it shows you all sorts of red warning boxes and tells you to fix the problem. Plus you can't stop a circle once it begins it's slow process.
Please Mr. eBay. Fix this problem.

i am having a different issue with the photos. On some listings when I am revising to tweak and make them look better, although eBay certainly did a good job improving my photos, I click on the pencil and I get two pencils but the option to fix the photo doesn't happen. It's "hung up" and I can't proceed. On other listings, no problem, it works ok. It is RANDOM. Do you think I am doing something wrong? Please advise, as I am a bit frustrated as some of my photos could look better, but don't know why the program is not allowing me to fix them. Does anyone know? Is it me or is it a glitch in the eBay tool? I hope it is fixed soon, either way, as trying to get revisions done and you know how long that takes even with this new, improved listing page. I like the new tools-only problem I am having is with photos
. If anyone has advice, please let me know. Thank you.!

Absolutely agree. Listing is becoming a real problem.

The spinning circles are such a waste of time! Please, please go back to how it used to be.

Yep. New listing tool is a disaster, especially with templates. It takes much longer to list because all of the options are hidden behind text entry fields instead of the old drop down menus.
Also too many forced fields on certain items. Since when does a dress shirt have a "theme" like a superhero or cartoon character?

For days now I've been having the same exact problem as you are. I couldn't figure out what was going on because I do not remember sitting here falling asleep while my photos save. That spinning circle has nearly got me to wits end. So much time is wasted. I also have to reload photos because they disappear. Now I'm having another issue with error messages when I download several photos to save as a zipped file on my laptop. Some photos drop away and more time is wasted trying to figure out which ones didn't transfer. I hope Ebay will fix this soon. It reminds me of the old days working with dinosaur computers. Just wondering if you ever found a solution.

I REALLY avoid making any photo changes like rotating, lightening on Ebay while listing. I just go ahead and get the photo's up there, launch it, and make the changes on the app in my phone. No other solution found for the endless spinning of photo work on the desktop Ebay.
