Has of today In received this message trying to enter ebay :
Pardon Our Interruption...
As you were browsing eBay, something about your browser made us think you were a bot. There are a few reasons this might happen:
You're a power user moving through this website with super-human speed.
You've disabled JavaScript in your web browser.
A third-party browser plugin, such as Ghostery or NoScript, is preventing JavaScript from running.
I usually use Firefox and this happened, tried in private and also shows up, used Edge it also shows up then opened my Laptop trying both browsers and it says the same. Read about this here on the community and seeing that I tried everything, even disabling ad block and clearing cookies and all, it looks like it is a ebay problem.

It is most likely not intentional -- I doubt eBay suddenly decided to block all users outside the US.
Possibly a change somewhere is having the unintended effect of causing the security software to block innocent users based on some as-yet-unknown-to-me network factor.
A broken redirect could certainly cause a loop that would trigger a bot message.
A lot of users registered outside the US seem to be suddenly unable to reach ebay.com and are getting a bot message from Distil. See the original post for details of that message.
Hey @eburtonlab! There are no sitewide tickets as of yet there are multiple reports coming into our support channels. As members continue to reach out about this, there will be a higher probability of this having a ticket I can share with everyone. I will be on the lookout for more updates as this evolves.

I just noticed other people mentioned the workaround.
Lots of folks are still trying to figure this thing out, so a post about anything that works provides additional confirmation and is still very helpful. I had missed the earlier "profile" reference as well, initially.

Thanks, devon@ebay !

Today I received this same message. For me it was because I retracted too many bids too fast. Ebay believed that because I retracted so many bids so fast I was a bot. I am now barred from using the help option.

Hi,
Just trying to refresh my eBay screen (logged in a few days ago) from a sleeping Mac and immediately got the
"Pardon Our Interruption...

message. This is on ebay.co.uk. Attempting to log in from a new browser window results in the same message. Did the same clear cookies, cache, disable ad blocking etc all to no avail.
So considering the last message about this was in May and it is now Aug as I write this, it doesn't look like eBay have made any progress in solving this problem- or if they had then its back again.
Shame I was about to bid on an auction - but looks that is now out of the question 😞

One of the things that can cause that error message is a link that is not redirecting properly and resulting in a redirection loop -- that seems to make eBay's security think that you are trying to load hundreds of pages is quick succession.
Try reaching ebay.com or ebay.co.uk directly through the main page without using a bookmark. Or try going to your Watch List page rather than whichever page you were trying to reach originally.
US:
https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/watchlist
UK:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/mye/myebay/watchlist
If you can sign in to the community pages on either site, you should be able to reach the site itself through your profile page on the community, using the link in the upper right with your profile pic or picture placeholder icon (the round blue gen icon).

Hi, same problem, can't sign in but I clicked on Tugarass view listing, took me to your page, signed out and signed back to my own page, works so far

Same problem here! So frustrating. I use Chrome. The most frustrating is that when I go to add a question on chrome, I'm booted out again and the screen won't go anywhere else!!! Ebay what is going on???

My husband got the same message yesterday. He cannot sign in to eBay.com, although he did get in to the UK site. Very frustrating.

I am still getting this stupid message! even if I reply to this post i get this ridiculous message!!! using my phone as ebay rendered my pc unusable by giving me this msg over and over!

At least one user getting this message recently was apparently able to get around it by disabling a Brave browser setting to "Prevent sites from fingerprinting me based on my language preferences":
It might be worth trying another browser on your PC as a test if you have a lot of custom settings in your current browser.
