Notification “you have offers” but there are no offers and it won’t go away, why?

On my ebay home page, for the past few weeks, there’s a You have offers notification with a picture of my item that I supposedly have offers on, but every time I go to see if there really is an offer there, there never is. Is there a reason that one item seems to be stuck notifying me that there are offers when there are not? I had an offer on that item several weeks ago, which I declined. After declining it, shouldn’t the notification go away? What’s happening is, because there’s never an offer, I’ve stopped checking offers on others too. If we keep getting told something that isn’t true, it definitely impacts credibility.

I have this happen all the time. SOmetimes it will say it because I sent an offer to a watcher. It is a glitch with ebay. Usually I just close out the browser all together or delete my cookies and it goes away. Yes it is annoying, just another ebay glitch problem.

I have been dealing with that for a few years now. Ive called Ebay cs and they just say its not really happening. They asked for screen shots and video of me checking the non existent offer and when i sent it to them they acted as if im crazy and that cant happen. It seems to only happen when my sales are very bad. does it happen only when sales are bad or just randomly?

This is the first time I’ve seen it. Sales have always been fairly steady, so that’s not it. I wonder how many real offers I missed since I started ignoring it. Ugh.

Questions from buyers have the same issue.
