Not able to save the Template

Hi, I am new on Ebay. I am not able to save the template. When I input everything and hit on Save Template, than it continuously shows that template is saving but nothing happens. It just continuously saving. Please help me on this.

This has been going on since 11/2/21. They still haven't fixed this issue. Extremely annoying but nothing us sellers can do at this point but wait for something to happen.

Try creating a new template using the new lister.

I have had this happen lots when I create a new listing it just doesn't ever create, I have to copy and paste all my title and details info into a file before I click create because otherwise I lose the data, and when I try to edit any templates it never saves either. Immediately after clicking save to save my edited template the console spits out the same error 3 times:

I just spent 2 hours today revising a draft that I have been saving for weeks. I am building a 950 card set of football cards to sell on ebay and today I received the last 120 insert cards and listed them all by hand after opening the draft up. I put in my price and hit the List Now button and it did nothing. I did that 5 times until I got mad then hit the Save Draft button and it started buffering. That was almost 2 1/2 hours ago. I called ebay and the rep said she would write up a ticket and rush it through but its still buffering and I am not sure how long it will take if it gets working at all. Now I can either wait for God knows how long or close the page and lose all the new details I painstakingly put in by hand.

I know no one is going to fix it today and I'm getting too old to keep doing this. I wish they would upgrade their servers at night and not during peak hours.

eBay is apparently aware of the problem and is working on it.

Are you able to save a template using the New Listing Tool?

Other users have indicated that works. Then you can switch back to another listing tool to continue.

Yes a complete mess. My work around is this:  I list one item and set up that description box and all the rest of it the way I want. After I list that item I hit the “sell similar” button and then pull out all the old information specific to the last product. Then I put in the information for the new product. That way it keeps all that extraneous information in the description box that you want the seller to know. 
 I never cease to be amazed at the shamelessness Ebay has constantly sending emails about how they’re changing policies and making sellers lives more difficult (no matter how they sugarcoat it) when they can’t solve their own problems.

This happens to me whenever I am in a template, then I go away for 15 / 20 minutes, then come back and try to submit.  It seems there is a time limit.  Just go back to your drafts, finish edits and submit in a timely manner.

I am also having the same issue. The circle just spins and does not save.  I left it overnight, still did not save. What a waste of time. Ebay, please FIX THIS!
