Not Receiving Messages from Customers - Can't Accept Offers?

We are a fairly large store, and we have received no messages in about 24hrs. We would normally have around 30-50 by now. We are still getting sales, and our listings are visible, so I wouldn't think we have a restriction. Nothing from eBay either. 

 

We also can't accept offers from buyers "There is an issue processing your request.{500054}", but we can send a counter offer. Is anyone else having this issue? It appears some of our outgoing responses from yesterday are not going through either. Very frustrating.

I have been having the same problem since June 30. 2024. Spoke with eBay Seller Support and the rep. said they would open a ticket and forward it to the back office team. I'm still waiting for an update from anyone at eBay.

They told us the same. Although we still can't accept offers, I did figure out how to get messages to work again. If you are still using the "classic" version of eBay messages, there should be an option to try out their new layout in the top right. If you switch to the new layout, the new messages will appear. If you switch back to classic, all new messages disappear again. 

 

The new layout is horrible, but at least we are now able to respond to customers. Still no email notifications of new messages/offers.
