Hello eBay Fam,
I have an offer on the table that I want to accept. It would be my largest sale thus far on eBay as a new seller. However, when I click accept/submit, I keep receiving the same error code (500054). This has been happening for 6 hours, and I am worried I will run out of time to accept as the offer was made last night. I have enough quantity to support the order in the system (31 available/20 ordered). I have no pending issues, no negative reviews, no returns pending, the buyer appears to be top notch with well over 3K positive reviews. I have searched everywhere to try to find any sort of error with my account but have had no luck.
Any ideas on this, or is there an eBay error code reference page/guide available? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am new to selling on eBay, so getting orders early on has been tough. Even tougher to get a review. Please help eBay fam. I would love to move my largest sale yet on eBay!
Thanks in advance,
AstralCloud

Create a new listing with the correct total quantity & the discounted total price. Let the intended buyer know it is up & ask them to purchase & pay that way.

This is on one of your best offer listings? You have a lot of auction style listings too.

Hello bonjourami,
Yes, this is for a best offer/standard listing. This is not an auction that I received the offer for. Sorry for the delayed response. I wanted to provide a quick image for any help to reference. The offer is for less units than the current available units. I have even tried via the app on mobile to see if that would do the trick, but no such luck. Any ideas or anywhere I can check the error code eBay provides me with?

Is the buyer in a country you do not ship to??
Also try click on manage offers and see if if it works from there.
Oh and just to say: the name of these items is copyrighted and may cause you some problems with VERO if they are not licensed products of the rights holder.

I'm wondering if the intentional buyer was suspended for some reason? Did you check their user ID?

I Googled that error code, could not find that specific one, sorry.

Thanks for trying. I was trying google as well, but it had to be linked to numerous item numbers because that is really all I could find. I just made another post in the technical forum requesting an error code guide or location where we as sellers are able to look them up with the hopes of diagnosing the issue ourselves. If anything turns up, then I will be sure to send it over/share it in this thread.

Hi ckimodog,
They are literally a state over from me, and domestic. However, I am brand spanking new to eBay. What do you mean by check their user ID? What specifically would I be looking for? Thanks, either way for the help.

Hello donsdetour,
Thanks for the help here. The client is actually really close by. I am in the US, and they are probably 200 miles away in a neighboring state. I've tried accepting from my mobile, eBay buyer side, eBay seller hub, managing offers, and even tried to accept from the initial email I received. I was hoping this would go away, but it has not.
The buyer has nearly 4K reviews, appears to be active, and I just now realized successfully purchased from me via an offer a week ago. It can't be shipping. It isn't the buyer. I don't have offer/payment restrictions such as immediate payment or a minimum acceptance price.
I am lost. I wish there was a portal to use to identify eBay error codes. Any ideas from here? Either way, thanks for the help.

Completely Random Thought.
I wonder if this has something to do with the discount you offer if more than one is purchased (save up to 15%). Sounds like buyer is making you an offer on more than one. Some sort of conflict?

Thanks for the info on the copyright concerns as well. I was told they were licensed, but I cannot find the correspondence that contained the docs/confirmation. I had to pay a fair amount more for the item just to use that title, as well as purchase USA. I sent a follow up requesting the documents again to be safe, as we attempt to locate them again on our end. I appreciate the extra stitch of support Don. Thank you again.

So your buyer is in the US. Did he make the offer of 20 Darth Vader 3 PC sets thru ebay? Or private?
Did he put in 20 qty in the offer? Is he trying to use a coupon of some sort?
Ebay is having difficulty reading this offer like something went wrong.

I think that is the best way, this listing shows only 10 well 10+ available and he has these little critters all over with different starting bid prices.

Possibly! It makes sense that it might break the mind of eBay lol with all the different discounts somehow interfering with the offer.
I will see if I can update a new post, or simply remove the discount prices to see if that helps. Thanks so much for the tip.
