No Email Confirmation of Sale

I could not find a link to report a technical glitch thus this forlorn attempt here to notify Ebay.  My email confirmation of sale notices stopped after 3PM yesterday. That is I got an email sale notice around 3PM and then no confirmation of sales emails showed up after that.  Hopefully this this just another temporary glitch and I acknowledge it is not the most important glitch that Ebay is currently dealing with.

And if anyone knows the correct link to notify Ebay about such a technical glitch then please let me know.

I stopped receiving sale notifications via e-mail last night. This issue has been consistently on and off for about a month, maybe 6 weeks. You can go to the bottom of this page and use the have us call you link to report it.

Same problem. I've had 5 or 6 sales with no email.

Same here. EBay, sellers need these - please turn them back on!!

Of course, I sure got an email notification when the buyer “accidentally purchased” one of my items and wanted to cancel…

I just found the missing sale email notifications in my gmail spam folder.  I usually don't pay attention to that spam folder as my dedicated Ebay gmail account very rarely gets any spam.  I have no idea why gmail suddenly placed them there.

As of yesterday gmail was moving buyer messages to my spam folder. After marking several as "not spam" the issue seems to be resolved.

However, sale notifications are still nowhere to be found. It could be an eBay issue, or it could be an issue where gmail is blocking them even before they make it through to either/or my inbox or spam folder.

I take that back - buyer messages are still going to SPAM (and still not seeing sale notifications anywhere in my e-mail).

I hope eBay and Google sort this out quickly.

It's been 3 days, but Google/Gmail and eBay are still not playing nice together.

Hey velvet@ebay, do you mind checking if there's a tech ticket open on this one?

Sale notification e-mails are not getting through to Gmail accounts. I have a theory that they're being blocked before making it through which is why they're not even showing up in SPAM.

Buyer messages are being diverted straight to SPAM which has never happened before.

Tagging in @katzrul15, another Gmail user affected.

One could argue that this is a Gmail issue, but I believe Google and eBay need to sort this out together because eBay is the only platform whose e-mails aren't making it through to Gmail right now.

My eBay messages are going to gmail spam folder as of today too. Having to mark individually as not spam for every user who messages.

Hi @wastingtime101! Thanks for the tag. I did find an open ticket regarding sellers not receiving sold email notifications, and I've updated Tyler's post here with the necessary info Customer Support will need.

I'm hesitant to say this is fixed because it's been occurring intermittently for the past month or two, but today I started receiving sale notification e-mails again.

I also just purchased something recently, never have had issues with not receiving confirmation emails or anything like that, I just did some searching on here, found this article and sure enough my email confirmation was in my junk folder (I use gmail) too!
