New markdown manager not compatible with strikethrough pricing?

I've been having some strange issues with the new markdown manager. These issues have been verified by CS. I have been unable to successfully run any markdown manager sales. CS did verify they've been set up correctly, however only some of the selected listings for the sale actually show as being on sale and none of the items in the sale have the price reductions applied. CS did escalate the issue.

So I ran two sales on two different items. One item had strikethrough pricing enabled the other did not.

The one with strikethrough pricing enabled does show it being on sale but the markdown manager discount has not been applied and is still listing at its normal price.

The one without strikethrough pricing enabled does not show up in the sale but when you edit the sale it does show up as being in the sale. The actual listing itself does not have the sale price.

Because of this, I'm guessing that markdown manager is not compatible with strikethrough pricing even though there was never in the problem past, they were two separate promises. It looks like eBay has tried to somehow combine the functions and now markdown manager will not work if you have been approved for strikethrough pricing. This hasn't been verified, but so far I've not been able to get markdown manager to work at all. While others who do not use strikethrough pricing are not having this issue.

Is there anybody else who uses strikethrough pricing who has been able to successfully create a markdown manager sale with the new markdown manager?

CS is no help.

I called CS they told me 3 days ago that my entire problem was related to strike thru pricing. 

They told me it was not active on my account. So they activated it.

I have a sale going on now there is nothing in the sale. Although on my end it shows 2700+ items should be in the sale.

Went to twitter...brushed off.

Went to facebook...brushed off

Went to CS...known issue no knon resolution

Looks like this will be a dismal holiday season.

These are the same issues I'm having, is good to hear I'm not the only one. I know they rolled out the new markdown manager in phases to different users. It seems like it should be feasible to get rolled back to the original working version. I really need to get it working.

I'm going to keep working on getting this fixed. I'll post here anything I learn. If you know of any other resources on this issue, please let me know. I posted it to the tech board but have not received any responses.

Customer service never called me back when I told her to escalate this problem.  I created 10% off sale and it says active in promotions manager, but nothing is on sale.  Always used old markdown manager, now that is not an option. Does anyone know how to get ebay's attention? I read ecommercebytes and all the comments from ex-ebayers sure ring true with valid points.  So disappointing trying to work when all day is spent trying to get customer service to actually do their job.

I'm not certain why this would be happening, once a sale event is live it should be visible within 24 hours. I've filed a technical report to get it addressed.

@a-creative-edge: the strikethrough pricing issue is one I haven't seen before, and I will be reaching out to you for more specific examples. Thanks!
