New Label Flow ... yet another glitch ... is anybody working at eBay these days?

Yesterday the Label Flow started to produce 2 downloads instead of one ... anyone else seeing this?  The dimensions are still backwards and the Bulk label function still does NOT have the option to print the receipt on 1/2 the page like the regular single item package flow.

I double checked and it does not appear I am being charged for 2 labels ...

Is anybody even working at eBay?  Even from their homes?

I have not had any issues whatsoever with the new label flow. Not that I have been shipping a ton of eBay orders though I did have 3 today.

I have no idea where and if eBay employees are working. Fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong as I have not had to contact them in the last year or so.

I am also seeing the download open in 2 tabs.

I just close one, but it sure is strange.

1st time I saw it I thought I caused it by double clicking or something, but it is happening every time.

Using a PC, Windows 10, fire fox.

@buyselljack2016   It's probably another issue with their inability to write code for programming ... or its a set up  enhancement that could "accidentally result in 2 charges in the future ... sorry, I'm not real keen on eBay right now since my 2nd INR in the last few weeks just happened and eBay did NOT take my advice several weeks ago to push out the INR claim window for Buyers by at least 7 days.  There are going to be many unhappy Sellers between now and the end of the year as they are forced to give their items away because eBay will NOT adjust to Covid-19 shipping delays, carrier under staffing as a result and 2-3 times normal package volume due to both Covid-19 and the Holidays.

I'm having the same problem.  I can't understand why eBay can't either leave the label generating page alone, OR update it properly.  Every time eBay "enhances our seller experience" it equals a headache to sellers.  I'm really over "enhancements."  My experience was better without them.

Re: New Label Flow ... yet another glitch ... is anybody working at eBay these days?

I came to the boards in search of an answer, I just printed 2 labels, and as already mentioned I also thought I double clicked during the label process. This sure is confusing! I managed to get the labels printed but I also noticed when I had to change the weight on one package from 10oz to 11 oz there was no auto update to the shipping cost (I do free ship). I clicked all around and finally got it to highlight "print label".

Things just get more confusing around here...

Re: New Label Flow ... yet another glitch ... is anybody working at eBay these days?

Not sure if the same thing but when I print on the thermal printer it prints a 2nd blank label. I check and instead of 4x6 its showing 4x10.88 on fire fox, I have to change it every time back to 6". On edge it prints the label once. I thought my printer might be corrupted but if your having the same problem then its not me but seems to print fine on edge. I also just bought a new computer and slowing setting it up and switching everything over(the 2 not connected) but printed a label this morning and its trying to print label on paper printer not thermal printer(default) and the thermal is size is off too, thats on both firefox and edge. After seeing the post, I'm wondering if its ebay and not my printers.

I didn't experience any problems with the printout, it was just getting to be able to eliminate the duplication. It printed as normal, no size changes.

Sorry I can't be of any help there, maybe someone else can add a solution?

Thank you for this post. I thought it was just me.

I was sitting there wondering what the heck I was doing that caused it to dl twice.

I'm also on Firefox and I just noticed the label print doesn't show up as a pdf preview now. I just get a popup where I can print the label.

In the past Firefox has had issues with updates changing preferences where PDFs are concerned, in my experience. Or at least changing those preferences can sometimes restore operation.

You should be able to go to your Firefox Options and set default behavior for various downloaded document types (click to enlarge):

"Save File" or "Use Adobe Acrobat" seem to work more consistently for me (in other contexts) rather than trying to "Open in Firefox", which depends upon a plug-in to work correctly.
