My shipping labels are printing the wrong way...horizontal instead of vertical......HOW DO I FIX IT?

My shipping labels suddenly have started printing in the wrong direction....THERE IS NO PLACE THAT I CAN FIND TO CORRECT THIS!  I don't have time to start trimming every label......it seems that every time an ebay executive comes up with a new idea to justify his or her salary......THE SELLERS SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!  Can anyone tell me how to fix this???

My Dymo label writer 450 stopped printing. Dymo said they have a workaround and were waiting to see if Microsoft would resolve it with a new update. I just deleted the updates for March and resolved the situation without a workaround. Works fine now

App printing is screwed up as well. Today was my first issue. It was perfect before w/ peel and stick labels. I hope they fix it quick because this is a royal pain!

I have reported the problem 3 times and it still isn't working correctly.  Not being able to ship and print from the APP is major inconvenience for me and probably gonna be the end of ebay for me if they don't fix the problem.

Is your shipping label print correctly now?  Mine still not printing right.  It happened all of a sudden.  But works fine if I re-print the label.

This old thread will be shut down soon, so start a new one if the following doesn't fix your problem.

On the create label page look to the right and click on Show More.  You will see the current label format, click on CHANGE and reselect the proper format.

I had to contact eBay. They told me that this was a known issue and they would add me to the list for a fix.  Currently, I'm still having the problem of the sideway label. I guess it will take a few days to fix?

@dun0079  Did you go check the ebay format did not get reset as I posted earlier?   If that is set properly, and still a problem, come back with OS, browser, and printer model you are using.

@rfmtm Thanks for the reply! I did try looking for the fix you posted but could not find the show more or label format link. So I called eBay, the rep told me that I would not be able to fix this as it was something they would have to fix for me. I'm not sure about the reps answer on that as I am still having the issue.

The next label I have to print I can look again for the "show more" feature. I am assuming that you must change this when purchasing the label?

Every label has printed prefect for the last 2 years on this printer, problem started about 5 days ago. HUGE PAIN! Sellers should not have to encounter problems printing labels using eBay.

@dun0079  This is an ebay problem only that their updates are resetting this setting for some users.  You have to fix it at your end.

Yes, next time you open the create label page look to the right and click on Show More.  Then at the bottom of that window is the current label format, click CHANGE and reset it to the proper size.

One other note, is Chrome has a habit of resetting the PDF reader to its built in reader.  For ebay labels it is always best to set the browser to open PDF files like the label with Adobe.

Happened to me when I BulkPrinted labels; I think the system stupidly reset my settings for eBay Labels.

**Proposed Solution**

If you have not purchased or generated the label yet, you can still access the options; just press the, "Show More" bar on the right and you'll see the preferences (the image I posted is for PC and for single label prints/unsure about bulk or mobile).

But, once you have ALREADY generated a label you're locked out and cannot access the options (for that specific label) -- the only thing that you can do is repurchase the same label then change the settings; if not, then, you will just have to crop the pdf/label.

I'm having this issue and nothing is fixing it. It's only on ebay, not any other platform. eBay is lazy and their tech team is not capable of keeping this platform going smoothly for sellers. It's all about the buyers and the ebay bottom line now.
