MY STORE COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED.... AGAIN!!!!

My store apparently "does not exist," yet again.  So this also happened to me a bout a month ago...due to some ebay glitch.  It disappeared and then came back after 24 hours.  I have a premium store on autorenewal.  I was able to acces my store earlier today but now my store has now just disappeared....AGAIN.  What's scary this time is that it's saying I don't even have a subscription, which I do.  Last time it disapeared at least my store showed up in my subscriptions and I was still able to use my free store listings.... now there is nothing... no sign I ever had a store....   I'm afraid that I will have to start all over again....  And I'm certainly not going to pay for listings when I have 1,000 that are supposed to be free.  Did this happen to anyone else?  I'm starting to get really irritated that I'm paying good money for a store that keeps popping in and out of existence.

Alan@ebay: My store still isn't back - nada...I'm paying 35 cents to list and with 1100 items to relist and others to list I either stop listing and watch my business tank or pay hundreds of extra dollars. My store is...err...was... Sarah's Collectibles. I've called 4 times now and nothing done. Was told the first two times to list and I would get reimbursed the listing cost of up to 250 fixed listings and 100 aucitons. Called today and still don't see the credit on my account. Supervisor said to keep listing since there is an open case which could take up to 90 days to resolve. I'm scared to do so since I haven't seen any reimbursement yet! Somebody please help. I don't know what to do to get back my store. I don't know if I should relist anything...or list new items. I don't know what to do, other than phone calls to get reimbursement! I've been selling on eBay since 96-97 and things have always be resolved but this time (sigh)....

@sstevick  If you are tired of waiting you could always do what I did and resubscribe... you have to pay another subscription fee that would need to be credited off...but it might end up being cheaper in the long run.  My store came back exactly the way it was when I did it, and I guess as long as a cancelled store is restarted within 30 days of cancellation it will  come back just the way it was.  It DID take an hour and a half for it to reappear after I subscribed... but it did end up working for me.... of course eBay is fickle and I can't say for sure if it will work for you too.

I re subscribed to the store. It actually back dates the subscription to 5-1-18. Then it takes about an hour for your store to show up. Everything looks good. All my graphics are there.

I subscribed to a store on 5/1/18 or 5/2/18. Now going on a week later my store still does not "exist" yet. Broken link. Are items listed and sold after I subscribed but before my store showed up in a web browser or came into "existence" being credited the store FVF discount or not? When I signed up for my store I was told it would be active within 24 hours. Now almost a week later when I click the icon to open my store (logged in or incognito as any other customer) I get a message "Sorry this store does not exist." Very unimpressed as a new store subscriber. I want the missed final value fee discounts credited to me, if not applied to sales made on listings posted more than 24 hours after my subscription, and also I would like the prorated of amount my monthly store fee for the time that the store was not active refunded. I wish I could file an Item Not Received claim for my store...

 

Please advise....thank you...

 

I understand other people may be in the same boat but I wanted to post my case as representative illustration of the problem.

Alan won't have any way to know you have addressed him here. You have to tag him by typing @alan@ebay this will bring up his name in a list and you choose his name by clicking on it. It will look like this: alan@ebay

 

I tagged him above, so you don't need to repeat it now. However, he will probably only be able to tell you to contact eBay customer service to get help with this. That is the standard answer for account-related issues.

FYI (and this will irritate a few)

 

From the UK site (and I assume this will be standard on CA (English) and UK, AU)...

 

Store links will change from...

 

https://stores.ebay.com/storename

 

To

 

https://www.ebay.com/str/storename

 

Note that this is what appears to be the format for the new store links. I do not know if eBay will generate any kind of redirect magic to keep the old links functioning.

 

I would not advise anyone to change their links at this time. As noted, there are some issues with the new store experience.

eBay is continually updating this site. Some advice given may have changed. Please reply to this thread, to let us know if this advice works for you. our store dissapeared for several days and now came back , but at the same time sales went down 50% and never came back, now instead 200 items a day we barely sell 100 or less, it all happened overnight for no reason, at the same time sales on another Big marketplace got up 20%.  Something very bad going on with ebay
