Listing keeps saying item specifics are missing

Brian,

There is still an issue with this change on existing listings.  Previously the required size was "Size (Women's)" or Size (Men's)" which we filled out when creating listings.  Now this has been changed to "Size", and what we previously filled into the old version was not converted to the new "Size".  Are we now going to be required to manually populate this new "Size"?

Yes I was able to manually update this new "size" for item 174065114968 to test it out.

it seems to be fixed now 

not sure if it’s temporarily or permanent but thank you

as an aside, a lot of the new item specifics are great, finally we have chest waist and hips measurements to fill in if we want

i noticed though that the “actual length” has disappeared from women’s clothing, dresses

can they put it back? and also add it to the skirts? as the actual length has gone there too although there it was a choice of lengths in inches....and tops and shirts category for that matter 

i guess a lot of this is still a works in progress and being such a big project will take time to perfect

This issue is NOT fixed....if I want to do a bulk edit, it STILL says that the items specific sizes are missing....for everything I want to edit!  This means HOURS of work for over 2500 listings!

Why does ebay hate us sellers? I mean you know as well as us that every update totally trashes the site yet this update was done during 4th quarter. I can always tell when something was updated because my sales drop. Was told no timeline on the fix, no list on what items we are going to have to add more details to.

25,000 listings, 4th quarter. I should be power listing merchandise on your site to make us both money but I am going to be stuck, updating maybe 25,000 items instead of increasing my sale during the holiday season.

18 years I've been here and I do not understand why someone would make the decision to change this now. It makes no sense, so please answer me, why does ebay hate us sellers?

The problem is not fixed.  I have several hundred listings with issues.  The most frequent issue appears to be that the sizing information did not map over when you made the transition.  

The bulk editor freezes.  When I try to make manual changes only 1 in 4 "takes".  

Also some of the other changes show lack of thought.  Why should I have to manually select the "women's" department for an existing listing in the women's clothing category?  Does it not make sense that an item listed in "Women's clothing" would be in the "women's department?  Yikes

Exactly, I just had an hour yelling session with eBay help and they said they did NOTHING over the weekend to make this happen, nothing has changed. I bulk edited my handling time last Friday with NO problem, and now I cannot bulk edit because all of a sudden item specifics are missing, BUT THEY ARE NOT. EBAY MUST FIX THIS! Thank you for listening. If any sellers are having this problem you must call eBay and complain as they don't think there is a problem.

As much as I feel your pain, calling CS is the equivalent to voluntarily beating your head against a brick wall, which I would not in any way, shape, or form condone and I would personally NEVER call them, even if my life depended on it.
