Listing keeps saying item specifics are missing

Won’t let me list - saying item specifics are missing (colour & size) but they’re not

Re: Listing keeps saying item specifics are missing

Has anyone looked at their "excluded locations"??

Even with Global Shipping Program, my listings are all screwed.

Policies don't seem to fix it.  No Exclusions in my preferences.

No response from eBay.

Re: Listing keeps saying item specifics are missing

eBay does not have a clue as to how people buy clothes.  They want to copy Amazon but cannot and never will.  They need to restore the old system or eBay will be ruined for many sellers and eBay revenue will drop unless they quickly fix this.  This is 4Q. For crying out loud.  No clue as eBay technical people obviously don't sell or care.

Re: Listing keeps saying item specifics are missing

eBay please listen to us sellers .....   I understand you are trying to improve.  Trying to advertise on Google and attempt to compete with Amazon.  It is clear that all of the smart people work at Google, Amazon, Facebook or Apple......   Anyone with any knowledge would not have done this to their sellers. eBay needs to understand their niche and "stay in their lane".  eBay please listen.   We want you and us to succeed.

Re: Listing keeps saying item specifics are missing

Hello, when revising the listing for jackets there is a new specific which is "Warmth Weight". How do you know which weight to choose for your jacket? Is there some sort of table that lets you know this info. I have been leaving it blank for now, but if there some sort of way to find out so I can fill in that specific that would be great. Thank you.

Re: Listing keeps saying item specifics are missing

I have almost 2000 sportscard listings, and i've been manually changing some.  It would REALLY help if all listings were defaulted to ORIGINAL and not have to choose that for every card.  Most cards are original.   Also, if we're picking a card to go into the sportscards/baseball category, it's likely the card is a BASEBALL card so why do we have to pick it aas a specific.  Again, make that the default, and like reprints, it would be something needing change for only a few rare instances.   Finally, there are dealers with 100,000 sportscards or more. I can't believe they can fix all of them, and they won't.  Ebay has to address this.

Hi everyone! Please take a moment to read our Announcement about this issue. It provides the most recent updates and steps for sellers to proceed with listing items. Thanks!

Honesty is always the best policy and refreshing, especially from eBay, however the whole premise that these required item specifics are a "desire to deliver an enhanced site experience" remains sheer, unadulterated nonsense.

However, brian@ebay  and @seller_news_team , when using the eBay bulk relisting utility and following the "Next steps for sellers: For now, you should continue providing all of the required, recommended and additional item specifics as needed." instructions in the subject updated announcement, it ONLY works with the "Edit listing individually - grouped by category" option and NOT the "Edit listings in bulk" option, so I may as well just keep relisting manually and individually.

As of 08:00h EST, when using the eBay bulk relisting utility and following the "Next steps for sellers: For now, you should continue providing all of the required, recommended and additional item specifics as needed." instructions in the latest subject update announcement , it STILL ONLY works with the "Edit listing individually - grouped by category" option and STILL NOT the "Edit listings in bulk" option, brian@ebay  and @seller_news_team  .

I was not be able to participate in yesterday's update, however, I can report as of October 22 @ 17:00h EST, when using the eBay bulk relisting utility in the Sports Mem, Cards & Fan Shop > Sports Trading Cards > Auto Racing Cards category and following the "Next steps for sellers: For now, you should continue providing all of the required, recommended and additional item specifics as needed." instructions in the latest subject update announcement , it STILL ONLY works with the "Edit listing individually - grouped by category" option and STILL NOT the "Edit listings in bulk" option.
