Items no longer displaying the banner 'Saved in your Watch List'

Hi all,

When I view an item, then click 'Watch this item', I get a blue banner at the top stating 'Added to your Watch List'.

When I refresh my Watch List, this banner used to change to 'Saved in your Watch List'.

This was an extremely useful feature, as it meant that if I subsequently viewed that item again e.g. in the following days or via a different link, I knew that I didn't have to 'Save' it again.

But in the past week or so, the 'Saved in your Watch List' banner has disappeared.

If I now click 'Watch this item', I still get the 'Added to your Watch List' blue banner.

But now when I refresh my Watch List, that blue banner disappears, and nothing replaces it.

It's now acting as if I haven't saved the item.

And I now have to scroll through all of my Watch List items to confirm that any new one has been added.

Anyone else experiencing this irritation?
And more importantly, anyone know of a 'fix' for this first world problem inconvenience?

I have exact same problem.  This happened several years ago but then worked again  after a while (several  weeks ?).

I noticed this problem at the start of October -- it apparently only affects the Watch List; adding an item to a different list results in a banner that remains if the page is reloaded or if you navigate away and back.

In addition, when items are added to another list, the list name appears greyed out when viewing the "add to list" drop-down on the item page -- except for the Watch List, which does not get greyed out when an item is added to the Watch List.

This makes it difficult to determine which items are actually on the Watch List.

Have the same problem.  There is no longer any notification when viewing items saved to the Watch List that they are, indeed, saved to the Watch List.

About a week ago, the 'Saved in your Watch List' banner has RE - appeared on 'Saved' items...
...as if by magic!
