Be sure the browser is up to date. If that doesn't work............Try a different browser

The same problem happens to me too. Item Specific is missing in the listing form. But once its uploaded, it will display the Item Specific of the existing inputs.

Yes I noticed that also. I misspelled something and now I can't fix it because the item specifics disappeared.

Yes, happened to me as well. I called eBay customer support about 5ish. She said I may have been the first person to call an report it. Told her I kept looking on the community boards to see if anyone else had posted about it yet, but that I gathered by tomorrow morning someone else will have to come across this problem. So she wrote up a 'ticket' for it dept. Not sure how long this is going to last. 😞

And it's not all catorgies, scattered, but the 3 I found (so far) are:

Health & Beauty > Skin Care > Exfoliators & Scrubs

Health & Beauty > Skin Care > Cleansers & Toners

Health & Beauty > Makeup > Face > Bronzers & Highlighters

Maybe if people post more of the catorgies, it will help the eBay IT to track down the problem? Maybe not? I dunno?

Item specifics is also missing from the Automotive / Power Sport categories since yesterday. The other day an eBay rep told me I have to change the info in the "Manufacturers Part Number" field on all my listings to something a bit more specific to each item. I can no longer put what I want in that field even though most of my items don't have MPN's. This is why they keep ending my listings and penalize my account for supposed duplicate listings. Well, eBay, I am trying to do what you told me to do, but the MPN field is now GONE as with all the other item specifics on my listings. I don't know who has been running things over there in the last year, but they are doing a HORRIBLE job! You guys have been torturing us Sellers! Loosing my faith in eBay a little more each and every day....

I’ve got 85 dresses listed & every single one has lost the item specifics (which I put in manually such as fabric content, length, care instructions), I’m uploading new items & there are no item specifics showing at all so I can’t enter them. Have tried on both iphone & ipad, same issue. There’s always SOMETHING!! 😖

I called eBay and they said this is a known issue since August and that the estimated fix date is 90 days from that (November). I really hope it doesn't take this long.

Nov? That's just crazy. So after reading that, I thought I would just call again myself. And I just wanted to give another heads up about the issue and the rep said he does see it listed as an active issue.

HOWEVER. I mention to him that on here someone had been told that this may not get fixed until November. I said for me being a long time seller, I know what needs to be entered, so I am manually entering all the fields with the "add your own item specifics" (or just do a bulk edit). BUT, I mentioned that a new seller might not know about their "items specifics" section and if there item needs to be "California Prop 65 Warning" compliant, they may miss that. So what if by November, 1000's (maybe tens of 1000''s) of items get sold in California without the Prop 65 Warning compliancy listed? Who is the State of California going to come after, eBay or each individual seller? Kind of a grey area, but still could lead to a huge legal mumbo jumo because of system glitch that they should be addressing right away and not put on the back burner. 😞 (Dunno....just my thoughts).

Hi There Again (I posted this morning feeling really annoyed by this)

After a quick bit of googling, I found an old thread from 2016 about the same problem, all you have to do is clear cookies & bam the item specifics are back again. I've done it for chrome & firefox and now both are back to normal on both. I hope this helps you guys out too.
