Is anyone else having problems with their Messages page? Unable to open any messages.

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing problems with their Message page.  The entire set up of the page is strange and I am unable to open individual messages. The only way I can read a question sent to me by a member is to start on my private email account and click on the Respond button.  Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  Sarah

I posted a message stateing that my issue was resolved , also told several others on this board about the solution I used . I had been using IE forever and never had any problems on ebay until I started getting messgaes at sign-on saying my browser was out dated and need to use a new or updated version of IE or a different browser altogether . I tried updating IE and it didn't help , switched to Google Chrome for ebay only and my messages page works fine now . No more bunched up words , the page looks normal again and I can open my messages . I have seen some post on here about people that are using Firefox and are having problems , maybe they should try a different browser . It's not like they would have to use it for all browsing , just for ebay .

Try using a different browser . You won't have to use it for all your internet browsing , just for ebay . I started using Google Chrome just for ebay and now my messages page works fine , no more bunched up words  and I can click on a message and it actually opens up .

I've had all sorts of problems with my messages. I searched for a solution to just skip eBay messaging all together and use another service and found these guys who built a solution - ChannelReply.  You basically forward your messages into a Zendesk account and can respond directly to customers, never have to use eBay Messaging again! What a relief.

I was having the same problems , had to start using a different browser for ebays messge page . I use internet explorer for everything else , it just won't open ebays messages . That's the only page I have problems on .  I have seen posts on here saying that some people were using Firefox and have the same problems , maybe they should try something else .  I started using Google Chrome for ebay and everything works fine for my messages .

Try using Google Chrome as your browser for ebay , thats what I did and it works great . No more bunched up words at the top of the page and I can click on a message and it will open . If that doesn't work for you , you can always delete the browser . I still use internet explorer for everything else , I just have to remember to use Google Chrome to go to ebays site . It's wierd that only my messages page is messed up when I use internet explorer .

Hey Bob !  Don't know if you're still having problems or not but , if you are , try this .  Exit out of everything , then use IE to get back online . Use this link www.google.com/chrome to be able to download chrome - follow the instructions . This time when you are going to Ebay , use the Google Chrome browser . See if that helps you out . If it does , awesome . That is what I had to do , but now whenever I go to Ebay I can use IE again . Which reminds me , did you check for any updates for your version of IE ? When I first started having these problems @ Ebay, I was getting a message saying that my browser was outdated and needed to use a newer version ( IE ) or switch to Google Chrome or Firefox . I went to microsoft.com and looked for newer versions of IE and found that mine was indeed outdated . Updated my IE , but for some reason or another , still couldn't read my messages . Tried using Google Chrome and then I could actually read them . What's weird is , now I can go to Ebay using my IE and read messages , because I keep forgetting to use the chrome browser  .  Weird ?

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUES WITH UNABLE TO OPEN MESSAGES AS WELL AND I HAVE CALLED E-BAY SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY TELL ME THE SAME THING, THAT IT WORKS FINE ON THEIR END. BUT IT STILL DOES NOT ON MINE END AND IT IS NOT MY COMPUTER EITHER.

I BELIEVE E-BAY AND GOOGLE CHROME ARE SCRATCHING EACH OTHERS BACKS AND THAT IS WHY INTERNET EXPLORER WILL NOT WORK ANY MORE AND E-BAY CAN'T RELEASE THAT INFORMATION, I BET.

I have been having problems for a few days now, It takes forever or it times out when I try to open my messages.  Both in Chrome and Firefox.

I have not been able to open, view or respond to any messages in Ebay until someone said to go in through Google Chrome. I tried that for a few days and then it no longer worked. Does anyone have the correct way to get to "My Messages"? Thanks!

I have the same problem today. Unable to open my message on Explorer 11. Chrome and Firefox is fine and also my ipad .  It's been like this throughout this year. Some day it works. It is very annoying. When you click on in box message and it does nothing.
