Did you mean:

I can't find my listing in any search.

What am I doing wrong? I have been trying to find an item I listed at 6.47 PDT. It's now over 4 hours later and I still can't find it when I search for it.

I though the days of things having to "cycle in" were past.

I checked by searching the categories and sub categories for the link you left for the example item. I was not able to find any results using the tittle and a broad search on eBay returned zero results. I was able to find the midge doll and mask  which were your 2 most resent items. I noticed the item you left the link for has xxx in the tittle perhaps eBay thinks it is adult material and blocking it from general searches . So perhaps remove the xxx from the tittle.

thanks for checking, 3eyed.

Here's the long convoluted story. I had this listed in a different category for several weeks. It had the word HITLER where the XXXs are/were. There were only 4 views, so this morning I deleted that listing and listed it in the category it's in now.

When the search didn't find it, I though, maybe change HITLER to XXX. Still nothing. I then changed the XXX to --- (per your suggestion). Nothing.

So I changed it back to HITLER.

Now it shows up.

Another curious thing. Even when I searched for 'popular aviation magazine' with 'all categories' in the search boxes, The search returned only items in the MAGAZINES category!!! I had to click on 'all' over in the left-hand column to return 'all'. And finally it showed up...just now. So another weird glitch.

Again, thanks for helping.

I searched again in the sub category by Popular Aviation Magazine. It now is showing as the 1st result. When you make changes some times it takes 5 to 10 mins for eBays servers to update, My guess is the xxx was the issue then after you changed it took some time for things to update and be searchable.

Still since the cart is returning a error it would be nice if eBay would list which sellers or items the problem is with so you can review and remove items. Then after you make your purchase go back and complete the purchases for the items and sellers that caused the issue. Or even better give buyers a heads up before a purchase is attempted.

At the very least fix the authentication error in community!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
