I can not respond to Buyer's Questions or Messages

As of today 9-30-21, I can not respond to any messages or questions that buyers have about my items.   I now get a ebay unexpectedly closed the connection error message.......

EBAY PLEASE FIX WHATEVER YOU DECIDED TO CHANGE ON THE BACKEND so I can communicate with my potential buyers so we can both get paid.  ALSO, fix the check box or button so I can post the questions to my listings that buyers ask so I don't have to repeatedly answer questions that are already in the details of the listing.

we are having the same issue - have a customer with a time sensitive question - wanting to buy something for his wive's birthday.  I can't reply to him that i have the date he's looking for.   Hopefully they are aware and are working to fix it.

Are you able to go to a user's feedback or profile page and compose a new message using the "Contact" link?

Thanx @eburtonlab I was able to message my buyer from an older order I did with them by clicking on 'contact buyer'.

You are always so tech savvy LOL 🤣

I used the contact messaging through the buyer/seller directly and it just worked but will not work if you use just the reply to a message you were already working on.

contact them through their eBay ID I just did it with a buyer that had me create a custom listing for her.  It works that way but not in the general messaging back and forth right now.

yu can contact them by their eBay ID and click on Contact...I did it.  It works.
