A previous issue just made me step back and wonder my methods for many things within ebay. How many of them are actually because of glitch work-arounds or just straightout bad ebay implementation or functionality?

I'm sure if I add up all the time I do for work-arounds, it'll be equivalent to a full time job. Much of the steps I do has become second nature. That shows how long these glitches have been around. Even now as I type this post, I'm doing another "work-around" to sidestep a glitch.

Glitch

1. label settings are never saved- lables print from full page-to miccor mini unreadable labesl- I have to reset customized setting with each label

2. bulk edit always has 1-2 items that are not able to update. never the same ones. The system just cannot do a complete edit in one attempt.

3. Reply to messages in teh community board usually state " cannot be authenticated so this message may never get to the baord. " Authentication Ticket Mismatched, failed authentication."

4. shipping prices to buyer are quted wrong at least once amonth. - using eBay calculated shipping.

I am sure there are so many work arounds that we do intuitively tath we nolonger recall them as teh result of a "glitch"

dont forget to submit your selfie to the contest that they have running to " raise our spirits" Because why would they take the time to fix the site rather than running these stupid contests.

Heres another glitch remmediation that I just had to use. Copy any messages before trying submit becasue most the time the submission will fail as did with my last message. but I had instinctually copied it before submitting becasue I am so used to message failures and haveing to re type any message to eBay customers or responses to the community board,

Using a win 10 laptop with edge and chrome as the browser almost no glitches unless servers are being updated. In stead of dealing with work arounds perhaps its time for a new computer. The glitches probably will go away plus you would get a faster processor and more ram!! If you are still using IE as your main browser that is probably the main issue as any other browser you download will be using IE's programing and IE is no longer being supported by MS. At some point there is little that can be done to bring outdated software up to speed as you are adding on and adapting old outdated code.
