How To Turn Off The "Not Finding What You're Looking For?" Notification

This notification bubble pops up next to the "Follow This Search" option obscuring half of the first seached item. Annoying and unnecessary feature - anyway of turning it off? We ALL know how to search and save searches at this point right?

The stupid notification also blocks sort filters until you manual turn it off. Completely nuts.

Agreed! There has to be some way to at least tweak a browser to block this garbage. Anyone know how to do that?

I'm still trying to figure out a way to get rid of that "we've changed a few things" banner that won't go away no matter how may times I've said "okay I got it".

Are you trying to **bleep** us off, ebay? Because it's working.

The notification doesn't appear on searches launched from Followed Search - just when you make/save one yourself - like one from your favorites bar. To me it looks like eB is trying to discourage personal searches and get everyone to save searches on their system by making personal searches so annoying. Another turn for the worse and their system doesn't work well at all.

Actually it looks like the whole follow/unfollow search thing is currently broken - at least for a portion of us users that are getting this notification. No rhythm or reason to follow, unfollow etc. A nice mess. User since late 90's.

I'm also getting this EVERY time I do a search that returns fewer than a hundred-ish items! The pop-up obscures the top item returned. I get it. I can follow a search. I've done it for years. How do I GET RID of it?! Thank you.

You're right about the number of search items - though my cutoff is 25 or less to get the notification. Since most of my searches are detailed I get fewer than 25 hits for the most part and I get it all the time. PITA!

Found the same thing happening. Tried to talk to the idiots and they claim there is no way to disable it from appearing. Obviously they think were are to stupid to search for something. I finally gave up and am closing my account. Told them will take the business to other sites; but they dont care.

As usual eBay treats its customers like they're stupid.

There is no need for this message to come up EVERY SINGLE TIME we search for anything. NOBODY's that stupid.

In my case, this pop up renders the search completely blank, so I cannot use the ebay platform at all...  Once the pop up appears, all the seach results dissapear altogether and even when the pop up is closed, the search results do not come back.  I called ebay tech support and they were not helpful at all.  They had me try all the usual stuff (clear my cache, etc) which did not work.  In the end, since they could not replicate the problem, they said they would not even get back to me with a solution.  **bleep**!!!!!!!!!
