Having Problem With Promoted Items

All my items i have listed are "Auction Style" and it says Not eligible to promote

the one item i have that's set to "Buy It Now" i was able to promote

So i am curious can you only promote buy it now items? If not can someone help me out.

You can only promote Fixed Price listings.
