I am very pleased to report that I am NOT a robot!!!! It was a refreshing change to the Login process which has dropped from 8 steps (as previously reported) to 3 to 5 ...
Anyway, the "I am not a robot" path gives me the opportunity to do the picture match thing with the picture squares ... I did REALLY well on the Palms Trees, Bridges and Traffic lights but I stumbled once on the Buses ... but don't worry, I'll work on that ...

I am down to just a checkbox too. It is worth noting Chrome doesn't seem to make me do those security measures like Firefox does.

I had one with pictures of houses behind a bridge and I was told to click on chimneys. I don't remember having Xray vision. And then they just want to tell me that someone is watching an item.

It looks like you're using Firefox. I was able to get rid of all the eBay verification garbage by doing a refresh (reset).
That eliminates all add-ons and resets to everything to factory defaults. I did the reset, reloaded my add blocker and haven't had any problems since.

And yes, Chrome never did give me any trouble, but I prefer Firefox.

I always fail these, so I just learned to hit 'back' and sign in again.. then they forget that they even want to know if I'm a robot or not. Works every time.

LOL! I access My eBay Selling pages via a Bookmark and when I messed up on the Buses I basically did the same thing by just accessing the Bookmark again and it went right to the last Login screen and I was IN ... I guess they figure a Robot wouldn't know to do that and I was passed through ...

I did crosswalks and chimneys earlier today.

You and someone else on this thread ... I might be good at chimneys ... but imagine my surprise IF my house were pictured?!?

Well, it seems that you not being a robot has been determined to be a technical issue by the moderators 🤣

Sad to say But I am a robot, I have a hard time seeing the pictures. I always fail... LOL

The bots picked up the word "robot" and went with it ... they see it as one of their own ...

With edge and chrome on my win 10 laptop I only have to log in with my password. Then as i have the 2step verification enabled wait 20 to 30 seconds for the text with the security code. Once the security code is entered I am in with no problems.
Also one I have done this with each browser I am good for 24 hours.

The rooky mistake made by most in verifying they are not a robot is to 1st do the terminator thing of cutting the skin off your arm. If unsure the better thing to do is see if a magnet will stick to your limbs. I say limbs instead of a limb as it is possible you may have had a limb replaced at some time with out your knowledge.

This is exactly what a robot would say. I'm not convinced yet.
