Better than 12 years on Ebay and a Power seller October 2018 has been a disaster in sales. We had a period of 8, 5 and 4 straight days of no sales during the month of Oct. 2018. Our sales for October 2018 was $690.00 compared to $2105. in Sept., $1528. in August and $1224. in July. With all the listings and photos being deleted out of our EBAY store along with the constant updating EBAY does, we believe there is a techical problem affecting our EBAY store thus preventing potentoial buys from finding our products.
With the numerous phone calls to EBAY customer service providers, we are being told our sales are likely down due to the time of the year, perhaps you need to revise your listings, you should sign up for seller hub, you should run sales/promotions you should consider being a power seller.
With all the glitches EABY has encountered during various updates, we firmly believe it has somehow affected the way inwhich pototential customers can find our products thus unable to purchase. Hence the decline in sales.
The individuals doing the various updates and programming of EBAY would likely have a better chance to find the problem than someone in customer service.
Another month like this can likely put me out of business.

I've had problems even getting to eBay the last few days. I've been unable to get a secure connection for about 4 days in a row due to invalid security security certificates on eBay's part. It's no wonder your sales are down. Now I'm trying to sell something of my own, and I can't even enter the item. It just doesn't work.

Agree 100% if whom ever did all the updates and changes "sneaky change" (my tag) had just not got out of bed for 8 months you would not be writing this nor would i,my sales would be up year to date 150% instead of down 20% (i know iv'e done well considering the knee cappers they gave me) eBay stock would be at $100 plus dollars a share instead of 20 something, you and i have to put up with the nonsense or get out but the share holders how long can they be fooled? they don't have to put up with this nonsense how long till they figure out they have nero as ceo?

I had 2 sales the whole month of October. I have been Begging for help even from one of the Pinks and they do nothing. I have not had a listing sale for 3 months and I am getting search emails that I deleted 3 years ago. This has been going on for 3 months. EBAY DOESN'T GIVE A RATS BEHIND!!!! I am a TRS with 100% feedback selling for 13 years and they would rather keep the horrible sellers that have less than 95% feedback that pay more fees. I see how good sellers are treated and EBAY DOESN'T CARE IF YOU HAVE GLITCHES AND NO SALES THEY JUST DON'T GIVE A CARP!

I've been buying and selling on eBay since 1999.
Managed multiple accounts for a variety of customers, most of it all have been a very rewarding experience.
Something is up, customer service is not what it once was.
I've been battling a minor issue, a customer bought and paid for an item, then asked me to wait on shipping as they were bidding on another item and wanted to save on shipping.
I should of just shipped the item - I know, but I thought I would go above and beyond, so I called eBay.
They assured me it would not be an issue, and if it was, it was documented and could be handled.
It's been many many weeks and all I get from the support staff is a runaround.
A shame, a real shame.
Hopefully it gets fixed sooner rather than later, it's been a roller coast.
Make the ride fun again

Tears rolling down my cheeks. I have done all of the above. It started last October started rolling out changes. Sales down 50% from the year before. This October, down 67% from last October. Days with no sales. I am not renewing my eBayer license plate because I am broke and don't make money on eBay the way I did before last October (selling for 14 years). It was an amazingly wonderful site in the past and I was so proud of it, why. I bought and sold thousands on eBay. Why I was proud to promote my business and eBay with my eBayer license plate. https://imageshack.com/a/img921/9074/PnF0Jm.jpg
Going to be a grim Holiday season. Time for change. I wish everyone else the best!
Pride is listed as one of seven deadly sins.
Deadly...
Where I live those types of plates are called "Vanity plates"
Vanity is defined as excessive pride in or admiration of one's own appearance or achievements.
In common parlance "vanity" and "vain" apply to conceited persons with exaggerated self-opinions.
Not to deny your complaint, but pride and vanity are certainly not helping.
