For the Love of God, Fix This Ridiculous Notifications Glitch...

I see numerous other eBayers have been reporting this same problem for days: constant erroneous notification popups saying "counter-offer accepted" or some such. This has been happening to me, first on the apps and now on the website, for a week. It's become debilitating. How difficult can this be to fix? (and for the record, all the suggested solutions -- clearing cache, signing out, reinstalling apps, etc -- don't work).

It's funny how something like this will drive you nuts. I keep seeing the red alert thinking "oh, a sale, oh and offer" and it's a stuck notification haunting me.

You may be able to use an ad blocker's element hiding tool to temporarily block all notification popups on eBay, if you are using a desktop browser.

Most desktop ad blockers have a point and click interface to allow users to block certain page elements from displaying. With a little trial and error you may be able to block those notifications completely in one browser, then disable that ad blocking rule once eBay fixes things.

Same issue here, too. It's been doing it non-stop for 5 days now. It's mind blowing to think a company this size can't fix it after FIVE DAYS!

I now have the image of this item burned into my peripheral vision. The problem notification has popped up literally 1000's of times in the past few days.
l almost wish I had not made the sale, lol. Or makes me not want to send any more counter-offers, lol.
Order has been shipped and received, still getting the pop-up.
All other notifications have come and gone quickly like before.
It is a new bug, I don't think we rec'd notifications in the past about counter-offers accepted.
eBay has to be aware of the problem, but I can't believe it has taken this long to fix.

Well, my popup notification was finally fixed. The offers are sticking to the home screen for some time now, but eventually clearing.
