FIX THE SITE!

Going into day 3 of zero sales. Never in 15 years of selling has it fallen off this badly. Between promoted listings being broken, search being broken, and me being on a Florida server SOMETHING IS ALWAYS SCREWED UP! I cannot get a human on the phone, because apparently customer service is gone too. PLEASE FIX IT!!

It's been slow...nothing we can do about it. This is when 'repeat buyers' help during the slow periods of time.

"Florida server"...is that an internet thing?

The Florida server are known to be bad and if your account is on them you will have long period of problems leading to low to no sales. They crash all the time and seem to cause problems. The seller who started this post (as well as I) know that it's not a buyers thing. There are deeper issues, it's not a slow period for sales, mine are finally coming through better. It ebay site issues that has been causing problems for 2.5 years so far.

Ebay does not have it's own servers.       There is no such thing as a Florida server.

I guess that 15 years of selling might mean that you did not experience the recession of 2008 at an Ebay seller.

The lead up to that recession and the recovery included many days when there were lower than usual discretionary purchases. When the clearance shelves in B&M retail were selling items well below cost and Ebay sellers who were buying distress merchandise were blowing away sellers who were pricing based on their past experience.

And there were many days of no sales, even for experienced sellers like yourself.

Step back a bit, and look at longer periods of sales.

Visit the competition, online and in the real world. Read the news, depressing though it might be.

Something bigger than Ebay might be broken.

Do research, they had started a 3 year server change to ebay servers right when covid hit.

Also ebay said them selves a couple of times that the Florida servers were down. They also had issues with Utah when they caught fire.

Still ongoing issues on my account. Server issue or search issue?? Just documenting here as nothing seems to be getting fixed.
