Every night around 9:30 pm EST my home page goes down in the middle of listing items. I can't finish the listing, I can't save it, I can't do anything it freezes. I reload but it gives me a Error Page eBay

The key is to have at least 3 web browsers on hand and switch as needed, usually multiple times a day.
Adding a note to an order (as a buyer):
Doesn’t work in safari, it won’t save. I wouldn’t use this feature if eBay didn’t hide tracking numbers after a package was delivered.
Messages:
I only trust that it sent if the other party responds. Firefox usually works but not always.
New listing:
Chrome is the least likely to fail during the process.
ebay isn’t likely to fix bugs quickly so always look for a work around. Maybe in 15 years it will get fixed or added (like feedback replies finally being visible in the app).
Also just assume you need to delete your cookies, cache, etc on a regular basis. Whenever possible update your browser.

Same thing here ebay's basically a failure at everything they do.

Same thing is happening with me too, it’s very annoying.

Me too. Every evening also until 22:30
From a year a this way. This is very annoying and there is no explanation. The system goes down and nothing can be done. I'm in Italy but i think this appening in world wide.

This has been the subject of several threads with scores of replies. It is variously referred to as the "raincoat boy," "orange boy," "Little Pierre," or "where's my stuff" failure.
Most folks don't have much luck changing browsers or cleaning cookies and history, but it's worth a try. As one who has been through this, here is what seems to work best (all are workarounds, not fixes):
As you can see from above, the problem appears to have something to do with uploading pictures and the total time it takes to process them (in other words, when the arrows stop spinning, something is still going on and if you save your draft in the middle of it you get the error).

I saw an interesting response to a similar thread on the UK community that indicated that the error seems to crop up consistently when the ping time of the connection exceeds 55ms when listing.

Thanks @eburtonlab for continuing to think about this.
On my desktop with VPN on I get 20ms (average) for a ping to www.ebay.com. Without VPN I get 12ms, and I never get the failure. The numbers aren't the same, but the trend is.
It would be interesting to know what the ping times are for US sellers listing with cell phones, which has always been reported as a way to avoid the failure.
