Ebay site does not show the number of views on my listings. Showing up as zero

The number of views on my listings are showing up as zero.  Once in a while they come back for a short time and then disappear.  Very frustrating! Anyone else having this issue?  Is there a way to fix it?

I have 0 views and 4 watching on one item. How does that happen?

I'm having the same issue. It is HARD to do business or adjust listings if I don't have any traffic idea. WHEN will this be fixed ?

It's been an issue for a long time. Getting the runaround from eBay. It appears that they don't care.

I am having the same issues, views not showing up and no sales. Please ebay fix this now . Not fixed in thirty days, I will close out and be done.

 I found the above topic when continuing to try and find out when this glitch will be fixed. Only thing is it had a green check mark next to it indicating that the problem has been solved. Solved for you? Not for me.

I posted the same problem on 6/24/2018 "Re: Ebay site does not show the number of views on my listings. Showing up as zero". Unfortunate that "Community" doesn't recognize the same topics and put the information together. It would give a more accurate read of how many sellers are experiencing this problem. Bob Kupbens' chat last week stated that the technical staff does read the comments posted here about technical issues and that eBay relies on seller's to report problems so they can be fixed. Note to technical staff, this is a problem, thank you for fixing it.

I'm confused. Why is this on-going technical problem marked as "solved"? I still have the same issue going on. I cannot be convinced that whatever glitch is making the screwed up views/watchers isn't responsible for the total downward turn in sales. I have a call in to customer service with the call back feature and estimated time is 55 minutes. We'll see.  And on that topic, I wish ebay would have their "call backs" identified as coming from eBay when they do call. Sigh.

Same here, its now the 3rd July and my sales have been terrible the past 10 days, only getting dashes where views should be, it's time they got off their backsides and fixed this !!

We have been paying to play and still we get nothing but problems from ebay!

View counts come and go, as do sales; I suspect in unison, but can't prove anything.

As for the sales coming and going, sales come in batches; a few within a short time, then nothing for hours to a day, then a few within a short time, then nothing for hours to a day, and the pattern repeats. There doesn't seem to be any pattern with the items that were sold; different buyers, different states and countries, different types of components; it's not like someone mentioned a listing in some forum, which has happened several times; people buy the item mentioned and perhaps another item or two. I would expect a sort of random time/item spread like what has always happened in the past, not these stop-n-go sales. Something is rotten in eBay.

Try to watch your counts and see if there's any correlation with sales.

Same here. It has been going on now for three weeks. I believe all of us, as sellers, should get together on Twitter or some other platform and do something about this. They charge us over 10% plus listing fees, not including the cost of PayPal, which they also own, but are about to get ride of. This is absolutely unacceptable for all the money we pay for this platform. I'm already selling on other easier, less expensive platforms.

Been having the same issue for the last few months but am getting no fixes or replies from ebay???? Have no idea what is going on but am getting seriously frustrated with how it has been going.

Mine is fixed as of this morning, but who knows how long that will last.
