Ebay site does not show the number of views on my listings. Showing up as zero

The number of views on my listings are showing up as zero.  Once in a while they come back for a short time and then disappear.  Very frustrating! Anyone else having this issue?  Is there a way to fix it?

Elated to hear it's just not me. A number of other issues as well lately. I can't get back to the older active views. I have to go through all selling now to get something similar. Also my promotional free lisitngs is not showing on my promotional page, but, I'm not being charged for any new listings, so it appears that it's working, but behind the scenes. The views it seems, is a common problem from time to time, but it's been worse the last few days than normal. I'll be checking out Bonanza  again. I'm wearing thin here. For a year I had great success with ebay,  but lately, so so. I think it's time to seriously think about a change.

I've been trying for the last 2 weeks to get back to my original active selling page, but, I can't find where to get there anymore. It is available through my all selling page, but, there's much more than active selling on that page. I can scroll down to find it eventually, but it's not as easy as before. Has anyone had this problem lately?

Interesting.  I listed 20 items, view counter working---NO views.  So I view an item, back out, presto, 3 views!  Say what?  So I do this for each item, and WHAM--views start  showing up.  One item is up to 14 views. and now I have a bid on another one.  

It's like I opened a backlog of views.  Not the first time this has happened.

Don't be surprised if your view count goes away again.  Mine comes and goes, mostly goes.  I found something interesting.  I revised a listing with 0 views.  Suddenly there was 1 view.  To test this, I revised 4 more listings lowering the price a penny.  Lo and behold, 4 listings with 0 views now has 1 view each.

This oviously a widespread problem.  Ebay did this because they installing new features, tweaking the system, or just messing with us.  It happens every year.  Frustrating and useless.  There should be No reason to contact technical support......It never should get to that point.  Ebay really doesnt care about sellers in my opinion.  I dont understand why we need 30 or even 60 day return policies.  The 14 day returns were bad enough especially on used and collectible items.... I dont need or want a store, but I am constantly bombarded with that. 

No Active Ebay page formats..... I hate it.  Yet it defaults to that layout, when I list something for sale.  Ebay stop messing with the layout of My pages.   Their policies are geared towards buyers.....  They always side with the buyer on sales even when it is clearly shown the buyer is at fault.  I miss the old Ebay at least they would let us know when there was a problem. 

As far as views go I do think there is something going on..... Some items dont get views right away, which is odd, while others show heavy traffic.   There is no rhime or reason to it.  There are Too many categories and the search engine has glitches.  Simplify the system......?

Ebay fix the problem.   At least my promotional offer finally showed up.....

This problem keeps occurring. It will work briefly then revert back.  Near the time when this issue first arose, my mobile app design changed noticeably.  After a day or so, the mobile app reverted to previous design.  I am guessing eBay is redesigning their software and the zero view issue is a related bug for now.  This is not the first time the I’ve seen this issue since selling on eBay.  I really hope they fix it soon because it is very important to know how many views a listing gets.  It is a disadvantage to be sure. I am trying to remain patient, but am getting more frustrated.

I hope this is true for em! I finally broke down and called just now. She said the problem in general should be resolved by the end of the month but she put in a ticket for MY user id with I.T so I hope I get the same result as you did

It's eBay so anything is possible! I have the same thing, so I guess views are effected but watchers are not?....I got a couple dozen listings with watchers and I dont even get a 0 for views anymore all I have are dashes - -

Yes, the views on mine changed to 260 after I listed an item within seconds so I knew it wasn't right. Although, now it shows only 2 dashes and has already marked my dashboard as late with tracking info though it was uploaded. Only one of my item is showing up in search.

I was so desperate with 0 views and 0 sales for the last 2 months which is not the norm for me after 10 years I tried to pay their fee still no you still no sales

Besides no views & watchers, I can't easily find my active listings. I have suspected for a long time that Ebay falsly  adds these when a listing is first posted, instantly adding one or two to jack you up. Their latest summary format sucks. 

Charging final value fees on postage should be looked at.  Now we have more grief with sales taxes. With all the charges ( Ebay fees, Paypal  fees, Increased postal fees, packaging & Post office runs). Listing items for less than 15 dollars, a small seller can't profit. I give up....

Another day..... still broken view counter..... On going problem.....

It was working last night, but this morning broken again.   I like how it works fine for some items and not others.... then switches from one item to another.....  Either way still broke, extremely annoying.             Ebay fix the glitch....... I retract "Glitch"  and call it a serious problem.

You have a point. I have been using the PROMOTE LISTINGS feature and it seems to create more traffic. But you're correct, the higher the % of the promotion, the more the fees are if something in that promotion sells.

I've also tried Etsy but hated it because they are too flakey with their policies. Plus I had 4 sales in 3 months. My handmade stuff is selling better here but I dislike potentially being penalized just because I don't allow returns.

I'm a conspiracy theorist about these "coincidences". My TOP SELLER status was taken away from me (even tho I have 100% positive reviews etc) because I don't offer Free 30 day returns. I can't afford to have someone buy it, try it, and return it after probably using it for 30 days. I sell vintage sewing patterns, books, and handmade items. Why should I allow people to buy an item, take it out of the package, photo copy what they need, and then return it? Also my handmade items are HANDMADE. You buy it. You keep it.

eBay is trying to be so much like Amazon that it's driving me nuts. I hope they fix this.

I cuncur with everything you say. I have to open up a new private account as ebay forved me into being a business - I am not, just have a lot of stuff to sell!

As for the views disappearing, this is so frustrating. I was making good sales by dopping my prices marginally when I saw there were plent of view but not sale.
