I use Chrome and have never had a problem. This afternoon, after using it all morning, Ebay signed me out and when I try to sign in again, it says Pardon our interruption and some gobblygook about me being a bot.
I never use MS Edge, but I tired it just to see if it's my computer - it let me sign in.
Anyone else having this problem?

Apparently something about your particular Chrome setup or browsing activity triggered that message.
There are more details if you read the "gobblygook" part of the message, I believe.
"Pardon Our Interruption...
As you were browsing eBay, something about your browser made us think you were a bot. There are a few reasons this might happen:
You're a power user moving through this website with super-human speed.
You've disabled JavaScript in your web browser.
A third-party browser plugin, such as Ghostery or NoScript, is preventing JavaScript from running."

Didn't mean to "Best Answer" you (although it isn't a bad answer), not used to this browser (I know ebay is the same). It's S L O W E R than I'm used to.
OK, I understand what it says, but I'm none of those things. I didn't do anything different to my Chrome, been using it for years with Ebay. Didn't disable or add anything. Didn't update it. It happened while I was logged in.
I don't know why it's doing this. I tried again and it still won't sign me in.
Guess I'll be using 2 browsers now. MS Edge is not my favorite...

I also just checked all of those things in the list. Javascript is enabled (it was enabled), no third party browser plugins as they suggested, and I am not super-human (well, I'm a woman, so kinda HAHA).

You should be able to remove the "Best Answer" designation by using the little caret in the upper right of the original message, I think.
Check your browser here to see if JavaScript is enabled:
https://www.whatismybrowser.com/
If the problem is with Chrome itself or with eBay's detection system, most likely that will get fixed and you should be able to go back to using Chrome again. If you have somehow disabled JavaScript you will need to re enable that yourself.

Thank you for the tip - although I VERY MUCH appreciate your answers!!
OK, Javascript was, and is, enabled. But I did it over to make sure. I also restarted my computer and cleared cookies, etc.
It just seems to not like Chrome now. I'm hoping it's ebay. I can't think of anything else, as it was working with Chrome until the middle of yesterday - and I hadn't changed anything. Still cannot sign in with Chrome...

Is your real name Hal?

Me? Like “Open the pod bay doors, HAL.”. ?
No and nope - why?

Also want to add - While I cannot sign in - I can use ebay on Chrome with no problems.

I'm having the same issue with the same message 8/21 & 8/22. The only way I can sign in is if I delete history and cookies on my desktop. Pretty frustrating. And yes, Javascript is enabled.

I don't know how to do that... nevermind - duh
Yes, I can! Thank you!

You are very welcome.
If the incognito browser window works, try clearing cache ("for all time") in Chrome, and then possibly try manually deleting eBay cookies to see if that allows you to sign in using a regular (non-incognito) browser window.

Interesting update. I asked on FB and they checked my account and found no reason to prevent me from logging in with Chrome. EVERY other site I use works as normal. So - I tried logging in on Chrome with Google - same login creds - and..... I'm in! Weird.
