Ebay bulk shipping page times out if I take too long to fill in all the dimensions and weights?

I typically am shipping 50-75 things at a time and I've never had this problem in previous years. However, in recent months, if I take too long when filling in all the dimensional data for all the shipping labels, when I go to Review it just errors out. Then if I refresh or go back, all of the data I just entered is gone and I have to redo everything. This can easily result in hours of repeated work.

Now, in past years, this never happened before. In fact, I used to open the bulk shipping page, and then individually pack each item and enter the info one at a time. It could take hours sometimes, but once I was done it would always work and let me go to the Review screen. Now, I pre-pack everything and rush to enter the info, only to have it timeout when I least expect it.

Any idea what could have changed or what could be done to fix it? I'm using Google Chrome if it matters.

How long is it taking you to fill in the details?

It varies but call it a minute per item. So about an hour I'd say?

In the past, I've been able to leave it open for multiple hours while slowly filling in the info and it never gave me any trouble, so I'm wondering what has changed.

A lot of eBay pages "time out" if you leave them open too long. I've noticed it happening more frequently over the past 1-2 years.

Regarding bulk shipping, these are my suggestions:

1. Do half the orders at a time instead of all of them.

2. On the bottom right corner of your Orders page in Seller Hub, click the ? icon then report technical issue. Tell them bulk shipping page times out (and whatever else it does) after (x) minutes while you're still filling in the details.

I use bulk shipping but it takes me maybe 10 sec per item to enter info - and that's only on items I have to manually adjust (orders of multiple quantity / multiple items) - the bulk of mine are prefilled with accurate weight/dimensions because I add it to the listing form before I publish. Maybe some of my habits can help you streamline your own data entry.

Edit to add: I also suggest trying a different browser to see if you have the same problem or if that helps you bypass the issue.
