Ebay Website is Constantly Down

For the past 3 months plus ... Ebay's website is constantly down. I can be in the middle of creating a new listing and get the message:  "Where all the stuff? Our homepage is down, but the rest of eBay is fine. We'll have it back up in a moment. 

I wound up losing everything I had already added to the listing ... and have to wait and wait and wait until the site is back up to continue. You get an image of a little boy wearing an orange ski jacket with the hood covering his head. 

What is going on???? Ebay was so unhelpful. They knew nothing about what I was talking about.

The site and server failures are a daily thing for my account, several times a day in fact.

Some users -- but by no means all -- seem to be having the same problem when listing, but the site does not actually go down.

If you are using a VPN, try disabling it before beginning to list. That has worked for some users, apparently.
