Starting Wednesday night, my store with 700+ GTC listings started showing only 2 items (just the items I currently had at auction). I wouldn't even know there was an issue except a regular weekly customer asked where my listings went. I contacted ebay support and was told there was a system glitch that they knew about and to wait 24-48 hrs.
I waited until Thursday morning hoping it would be resolved, but no luck. As a business, waiting 24-48 hrs for an issue to be resolved seems a little ridiculous so I tried de-listing my items and relisting them. This seemed to work to at least get my key items visible again however saw a significant decline in revenue for the day since anyone watching my listings was no longer watching my new listings.
Fast forward to Friday, when I think I at least have a temporary solve (since all my items STILL aren't showing) and I get a message from another customer who asks where some of my specific listings went (which I had relisted). I went to search my store and started getting 0 results back. So apparently now there's an additional issue of customers not even being able to search my inventory in my store. I contacted ebay support again (mind you this is my 5th or 6th time contacting them) and this time was told the following:
"Upon checking, I've found out that it's am om going issue on the site. I have already sent a report to our technical team so they can fix the issue on your account. It might take a few days. I'm so sorry for all of the inconveniences this has caused you but this is the best thing we can do as of the moment. Since this is a system glitch, we only rely to our technical department. Kindly wait for few days while they're fixing it. Thank you for understanding."
So now a few days? BTW - no compensation has been offered in any way even though there has been a clear decline in sales. If this is an ongoing issue - why has there been ZERO communication around it? Anyone else having these issues and/or gotten different responses to explain?
