Doing some searching on ebay, accidentally clicked on link or ?. Dumped me into an scam (?) virus alert page. Here (in reverse order) is the path from my history. Running Firefox on old Mac. Shouldn't there be a bug report site? This message is all I'm going to do.

This is a malicious redirect, it’s not a virus, not malware. Most likely from a third party ad that eBay hosts and didn’t vett. Ebay has to fix. Only happens to Apple iPads.
See this example that happened to the major credit reporting agencies.

Again, thanks to advice here reguarding clearing history, etc. was able to use later that day. Also, maybe bringing this issue to eBay’s attention within these forums helped. At any rate, appreciated.

Try resetting your browser -- that will delete any history and cookies and reset various settings like homepage and default search.
For instructions, google your browser name, "reset" and "iphone" or "ipad" if applicable.

Je ne comprends pas que eBay ne trouve pas de solution ?
Il arrive souvent " rtbbit.com/out?out=https… " qui redirige vers un autre site, et ainsi de suite.
