During check out PayPal logs in but doesn't redirect to ebay

I am trying to pay for an item but, during checkout, I choose PayPal as the payment method, the pop-up window opens and I log in successfully. The problem is that after logging in I am NOT redirected back to the checkout page, instead my PayPal main page is displayed in the pop-up window and when I close the pop-up it doesn't register the login and asks me to log in again, and this keeps repeating. Anyone experiencing something similar or any advice? Thanks!

you could try clearing cookies and site data from both paypal and ebay...

After you sign in to PayPal, you should be presented with your shipping address options and payment options to choose from. Once you choose your options and finalize the payment, you should be able to use the big blue "Pay Now" button at the bottom, the pop-up should close, and your checkout should be complete.

If that is not what you see, try another browser; your browser may be blocking something. Check your PayPal account -- you may need to update something or check a box somewhere.

The issue is from eBay's side due to managed payments.
