I am having to constantly call eBay to have them refund me insertion fees due to duplicate listings being created for my items.
They occur two different ways - about 25% of the time.
While listing items. When I Submit Listing, it will create two listings. I know this happens because on the next page ,in the popup that says SUCCESS, the title link will display my items title twice in a row, like TITLETITLE.
This also occurs if I revise an item.
I need this fixed ASAP. I have called eBay 5 times over the past few days to have the duplicates removed and my insertion fees refunded. eBay support told me to call them when it happens again. REALLY?! THIS IS A HUGE BUG AND I CAN'T WASTE TIME EVERY DAY TO CALL TO HAVE THIS FIXED.
Can someone on eBays engineering team please look into this and let me know if it's being worked on?

This same thing happened to me over 3 weeks ago and I posted the glitch on these same message boards. Another user replied and was kind enough to call someone from eBay out on it, but I never heard back from them.
Here's my post.
I didn't know this happened to me until eBay removed one of them for a Duplicate Listing Violation, that I HOPE DOES NOT COUNT AGAINST ME.
And here's a screen shot from my error that, according to the OP, looking to be the same error they got, as well.

It is odd that ebay is blaming the customer for this since their system is supposed to check listing tittles and pictures and weed out duplicate listings. After all it is their policy that you can only have 1 listing per item. It sounds like their system has yet another problem that their tech support is not acknowledging the issue blaming the seller when they should be documenting the problem. trying to reproduce the issue and passing it on to their server team to fix the issue. While the support reps may not see this as a big issue and want to put it on the seller to find and fix them self. When buyers start buying items that do not exist there will be real issues with buyers deciding to stop using ebay due to a lack of reliability with purchases. With all the problems they are having with their site changes this is one they really do not need.
