Now, ebay changes watch kist. Now when a listing ends, you cannot view the bidders. Not the exact bidder as always, but not which bid highest price. If you open up the ended item, it will not even show the item that was for sale. It shows another item that is not even related. Good grief.

eBay is directing you to another open listing, but if you look in the blue banner at the top of the new listing where it says "The listing you're looking for is no longer available" -- the word "listing" is a link back to the original item. You can still find the same bid history information, you just need to go through an extra step to find the original auction.

You aren't far from the truth if there are third party ads on the pages.

It is yet another form of promoted listings that sellers are paying ebay to promote their items over other sellers items they are also doing this in search results but their reps say its not promoting other sellers since it is not on a active listings discription page. On search results ebay is promoting other sellers by placing a link to similar items bellow the actual link to the sellers item page. This link pulls up a page similar to the actual item description page but scrambles the item description making it less desirable to a buyer then when they scroll down there are numerous links to similar promoted items. When buyers click on this misleading link the seller gets no page views there is no option to watch their item. The links to their store are not present, If they have a store their store landing page and category links are not present. To bring these items up the buyer would have to click a link to see the full item description. The whole deal is a click bait trick to make the item seam less desirable and push other items that sellers are paying ebay to promote to buyers. Of course ebays techs say it is not promoting other items and sellers because it is on a search result page and not the actual item page.
