DESCRIPTIONS NOT VISIBLE

Can anyone tell me why the descriptions on my adverts and those of other sellers are not visible please?

Currently it's just a blank page where the description should be.

If l try to revise my listing, the text is visible, so it's there but doesn't show in the live ad.

Yes, I am seeing the exact same thing on listings.  I am using the latest version of iOS on an iPad and the lastest version of Chrome on Windows 10.

Not an issue on laptop computer using Edge, Windows 10 or

Google Chrome on Windows 10

I ticked on a couple of your listings and see body copy. It's in a huge font... I've seen black, blue and red. Is it yours?

Something has changed.  I have had no problems until today where descriptions have not been showing up.  Some listings do, some don't.  I have tried three different Windows computers, one Apple Mac Mini, and an iPad.  They all show the same thing.

I have two accounts, one personal and one business.  On my business account, very few descriptions are showing up.  The business account is :  keyshotltd

I have also looked at many other listings which are not mine.  Some descriptions show up, some don't.  There is something wrong.

Well, color me confused. I ticked 3 the of 'keyshotltd' listings (Stooges, Minecraft, Steinmetz) and see descriptions. I'm on Edge, Windows 11.

Yeah, it's driving me nuts because it makes no sense at all.  Here is what I see on the Steinmetz listing (Chrome on iOS):

I installed another browser and the pages load correctly.  So, it appears the problem may be with the latest release of Chrome.  What puzzles me is, half of the pages load the description fine with Chrome, the other half the descriptions are blank.

I guess I will do some more investigating...

The description is visible on my lap top. I checked a few of your listings and they all showed a description.

Same here.  Most are not visible.  I’ve only had a few of my own that can see.  Tried from two different iPad Pro’s using the latest iOS.

This morning in Firefox I saw a listing with no description, though the description was showing in other browsers for that same item.

I tried clearing cookie and site data using the lock icon to the left of the page address while on the eBay page, and after signing back in to eBay, the description was showing again in Firefox for me.

If you are not seeing item descriptions, try clearing just your eBay cookies and site data to see if that helps.

I just “cleared history and website data” from Safari for “all history”.  I viewed about 10 items, half were my own, and I was able to see the item description for 2 items.  So, at least for me using iOS on iPad Pro, this did not help.

I tried viewing several items on an iPhone 11 and 13 and I was able to see the item description for everything.  

Seems to be an iOS iPad only problem for me.

Try manually deleting just your eBay cookie in Safari.

How do I do that?  I don’t see an option in Safari to delete cookies for specific websites.
