I received a message that ebay would send me a verification code to my phone number. Unfortunately, I changed my phone number some time ago. There was no alternative way of accessing to my account, like an e-mail as other services do.
I contacted with the chat service. 1 hour and 45 minutes and 8 different people were transferring me to one another like playing with me.
-are we sure we cannot change a phone number???
-are there not alternative ways to verify identity?
-are we sure that 8 people transfering me to one another is not a sarcastic game?

You can change it. Account Settings/Personal info/Contact info/Phone number, then Edit and Save.

Thank you very much! The problem is that I could not enter my account. To enter in my account I had to validate through a code sent to my phone, that of course I couldn't access because it was long gone!
Then I went to the chat customer service, and it was a shame.

On the page where you are prompted to enter your password, use the "Need help signing in?" link. On the following page, select the "Reset" option, but instead of resetting your password, use the "Contact" link on that page to contact eBay. That link is specifically for users that cannot sign in to their accounts.
