Count of Listings in My Store are not matching My count for Active Listings

Count of Listings in My Store are not matching My count for Active Listings. They are off approx. 500 not counted in my store.This has been happening since the middle of December 2023. It's very frustrating and I don't understand why this is still happening. Please add me to ALERT15129............

I see 11,025 items in your store as well as in general search. If you see more in your Active items list, then you likely have the out of stock feature turned on and the additional items have no inventory.

This feature is for sellers who replenish their inventory so that they can just change the available quantity as new stock comes in without the need to relist. If you don't replenish your inventory, you'll probably want to turn this option off here:

I had that same issue a few months ago. My store was showing I had 200- 300 less than what was showing in my active listings.

What I discovered, (this may not be true for everyone) that a lot of my much older listings, listed in 2021 and 2022 appeared to be hidden. Because when I ended them and relisted as sell similar the store count of listings  began to jive with my active listings count.
