Did you mean:

Combining more than 2 orders with 1 shipping label.

Yesterday i had a customer buy 9 items from me in 3 different orders. Obviously he did not check out properly.

I could fit his 3 orders/9 items in a medium priority mail box.  I tried to print 1 label for the 3 orders.  It wouldn't let me. It would let me combine 2 orders but not 3.

Is that a glitch or is that just how it is?

Did you try the Bulk Shipping tool? This usually works well, and lets you edit the final package weight and shipping method in my experience.

Re: Combining more than 2 orders with 1 shipping label.

@inhawaii   When you go to print the first label the label flow will open.  Look in the upper right hand corner and click on the Print labels in bulk link, click that.  The next page will show all of your sales that need labels.  For those you do NOT want to combine check their boxes then use the Remove function at the top of the page.

The remaining sales you can combine.  Check their boxes and then click Combine at the top of the list.

The next page will let you change the weight & dimensions, review and print a label ... ALL sales you selected will be combined.

Note that the bulk label printed in this case will not have the eBay banner and if you want a receipt you need to print the Summary AFTER you print your label.

Re: Combining more than 2 orders with 1 shipping label.

Two common reasons why you may not be able to combine the orders:

  1. Check to be sure the ship-to address is the same on all three orders.
  2. Check to be sure the buyer didn't use a different buyer ID for one of the orders. You cannot combine orders from the same buyer if different buyer IDs were used.

Re: Combining more than 2 orders with 1 shipping label.

I appreciate everyone's help.

I had to combine 2 orders tonight. It went through without a hitch. Just for some reason it wont let me do 3.

I give up. It's super rare that i have to combine more than 2 orders so it's really not that big a deal.

Have a great weekend everyone!

@inhawaii   Did you even try what I suggested?  I've combined up to 4 sales using the Print labels in Bulk on the label flow?

mr_lincoln:

I followed your instructions to a T. Everything was ok until i got to the part i had to click "combine" at the top. Combine was shaded out and not clickable.  Only "edit" and "remove" were clickable.  So playing around  i clicked "edit".  It brought up a screen similar to what you described. I think this is what you were talking about.   I didn't want to go too far because i was playing (testing) with 3 orders that DID NOT need to be combined.  I wasn't sure how to cancel or un-combine them if i went too far.

But i think i got it now should i ver have to do it again. Thanks for your help!
