Cant reply to User and buyer messages via Ebay Messaging

Cant reply to some buyer and user messages via Ebay messages since Ebay changed its message policy ( and the appearance of the reply screen we see).  Cleared cache and tried different browsers- same result. Only way we can reply to buyers needing support is to go into the buyers sale drop down box and select the contact buyer option and send them  a new message. We are unable to reply to those who have not purchased from us on ebay through ebay messages at all.

You should be able to go to a user's profile or feedback page and compose a new message using the "Contact" link there, if you are unable to reply to a message.

What actually happens when you try to reply to a message directly?

Are you using a desktop browser, or mobile browser? Are you able to reply using the eBay app?
