Cannot update listing after adding item specifics

I have an issue I haven’t encountered before. I was going through my listings and ebay suggested that I add item specifics which I did on an item. But after updating the listing it came up as an error saying that I need to select condition. The condition description box is grayed out but  has my original condition description and now the only options I have to update the condition is either select new in box or new without box.

In my original listing I selected  condition description as used.

So because of this I cannot update my listing unless I select new in box or new without box.

I talked with someone at eBay this morning and they were stumped by why this was happening. Perhaps just a glitch. But in the meantime I had to end the listing because the  used option is not there

Same thing happening here.  Every time ebay starts messing with the item specifics, it turns into a mess.  The last time ebay did this sellers like myself spent hour and hours fixing their mess.

what's the item?  I seem to remember a category that is only for new.........but memory is shot beyond that.

Well I gave up trying to fix it. I just ended the item and will come back at another day to see if allows me to update.

eBay didn’t know what was going on so my only theory is that it’s some kind of a glitch so hopefully will be fixed. I should’ve left it alone and not added  more item specifics

It’s a vintage portable mirror with lights. When I created the listing I selected condition as used. But when I added a few extra item specifics that eBay recommended I couldn’t update the listing. It said to correct my condition but only allowed me to select new one box or new without box neither of which is correct.

eBay changed a lot of the health & beauty categories so used is no longer an option.

You can list under collectibles >vanity, perfume & shaving then select one of the subcategories.

this is what I get in red , all my items had items specifics fill in and today I am getting again a certain listing cannot be update because I send an offer to the prospecting buyer .... so what now?

Ebay's process of flagging items for "adding Item specifics seems to be having some issues".  Recently as today I click on the item and the box that says "add item specifics" and the system just clocks and clocks and doesn't allow me to update it. Why does ebay have a feature such as this that doesn't work.   And someone times my item has relisted a number of times and I have set the flag that says "don't ask me this again".  Ebay should keep track of this and not reset the "add item Specifics" to yes every time the item is relisted.
