Cannot create a listing with variations.

I have not been able to create a listing with variations. I'm not able to even see where the variation option is. I've read about people not being able to see it because they're category won't allow it but I'm pretty sure my category does, it's sports card lots. I've also tried Men T-shirts just as a test and I still don't see an option for variations.

I've changed the quick listing tool to the business tool and still nothing. 

Any help would be appreciated.

On the new listing tool, click the 3 dots in the upper right and click Settings.

The option to turn on variations will be there if the category supports them.

This is what I get when I click on the three dots and click settings. I can't imagine my category would not support variations because I've seen other posts with that category that do. Thoughts?

I found what the problem was, it was my category. I had it set to sports card lots and it needed to be sports card singles which didn't make a lot of sense to me but that was it. Thanks for your help.

Yes, the category makes a lot of difference.
