I think they added the 'headings' on the left, but again, that's not an ad so I don't see how that could help (plus, I don't like adding 'ad blockers' then I can't search others that 'promote' to tell me things I need to know.
Although ad blockers in general are obviously designed to block ads and they can be quite good at doing that, they are actually powerful general web tools that can be used to block all sorts of non-ad page elements. You don't even have to use them to block ads at all if you do not want to. You can pick and choose what they block, and what they don't. You can disable them on certain pages or sites, or pick among or even entirely skip the subscription services that provide the ad-blocking rules and just use your own custom blocking rules, which you can generate using a point and click interface.
Ad blockers can be very helpful in cleaning up cluttered web site pages and eliminating all sorts of annoying page features like hair-trigger flyover menus, totally unnecessary headings and graphics that take up valuable screen space at the top of important pages, and overly wide table elements that can cause horizontal scrolling, like that category list on the top of the Watch List that did not wrap properly in some browsers and that caused the Watch List page to be four times wider than the screen.
