Bug found when clicking on See Other Items or Seller's Other Items

When I am viewing a listing from a keyword search and I click on the "See Other Items" link, it results in that particular seller's other items but still uses the keyword search.  You can't see their other items unless you clear the search box after clicking the link to see the other items.  This also happens when you are visiting a sold listing.  Please fix this ASAP.  Many people wouldn't notice this and clear the search box.  This could be a big part of why everyone's sales have dropped so drastically.  This is a BUG that needs fixing.

That they are providing a tool in the selling page to VIEW OTHER ITEMS that someone is selling be it a Private listing they are still charging fees, if this option has been taken away or a Technical issue people have the right to know what is going on with their Accounts. I have raised this with managers in Ireland for over 14 days, if they do not get back to me this comming week with an answer I do think people inclusive of myself will require to go Public as there s noway I am paying to advertise on a Platform that people cannot view the full list of items that I myself have paid to list nor should anyone else,

I tried reporting this to eBay over the phone so there's many people experiencing the same issue. I have noticed this for the past few days. I don't really sell much on eBay but I buy quite a few things and search through literally hundreds of listings a day. If I come across something I like and it's a good price I always click on the view seller's other items and up until now it has shown me every single item they have listed for sale/auction on eBay. Now unless a seller has an eBay store almost always I get shown zero results found when clicking on the other items tab when I know for a fact that they have other items. For the past few days I would go back, click on the users name and that would take me to their feedback page. Then from there I would click on the items for sale link above and it would show all their listings. Until this is sorted out it's good to know that all I have to do is clear the search bar at the top and hit enter and it should bring up all the sellers other items listed. But I really feel for the sellers that are losing out on so many lost sales or even low ending auctions because buyers aren't even aware of the items being sold.

As far as I am concerned, you are hitting it right and precisely on the spot. Very well argumented.

From the buyers point of view, what you describe is the exact experience on eBay nowadays, for  those using the methods you describe
Methods that are a second nature to milions and many millions (if not all) of eBay users that got used to this site after just a few buys, and many visits to eBay in the middle. Looking and browsing. 
This is the way you use eBay after a while, the habbit arises automatically.

So? Whats next in this? Im hoping for the best (argumented in my earlier posts)

If this is going to be the normal on Private sellers being restricted to have their listings viewed on clicking on " sellers other items", one would need to put in an instruction in how to view their other items at the start of their descrition of the item being sold in order to try and direct a  potential buyer to view their other listings, it is a disgrace how this company Ebay can treat their members as I am really disgusted with their apparant disrespect for their members

 Now click to view this sold listing and next to my username is a link to see "Seller's other items".   Shouldn't that show you my other items?  And I'm pretty sure it always used to before all of the recent updates.. 

I did your above search and only 1 item came up. Had you not brought this issue to my attention, I would have assumed that you only had 1 item for sale period, when in fact you currently have 272 listings. One would assume that the "sellers other items" link would take you to a page showing ALL the seller's items as it does when you click that link from the feedback page. There should be uniformity with that link.

This has changed since the update. I agree, this is an issue which needs to be addressed as it is affecting all sellers.

more sellers have to be made fully aware of this action implemented by Ebay, as Private sellers have the right to know if this is either a Techincal Issue or delibrate action by Ebay to force Private sellers into opening Store Accounts,as a Private seller myself all my International visibilty has been affected, as only one or two items are showing out of hundreds when pressing on view other items, as it is a outrage after I have paid for each listing to be shown on the Iternational visibilty, as Ebay are seemingly refusing to give me my money back for these listings and still charging for a service that iis limiting my selling capabilty,which runds into hundreds of pounds

I'd like to know who's in charge of the SLOPPY CODERS? This kind of shoddy work is unacceptable. All of the teeny-weeny, little pieces of garbage that these programmers are leaving behind when they change or improve things is killing sales--death by a thousand cuts. It's like turning in a rough draft of a paper, unedited for mistakes. I place the blame on the manager in charge of these "sloppy coders" for not checking their work (thoroughly!).

This is happening to me when I try to buy as well. My sellers have more item but when I click "see other items" It only shows me the 1 item I clicked from.  I`m having to click their feedback/username and then click "view items for sale". Many buyers won`t know to do this workaround. MAJOR FAIL on ebays part which is costing sellers sales.

Using Firefox 31, when I click on any "Visit Store" link or store icon for your store (on one of your listings, in search results for your items, on your eBay About Me page, on your community forum about page), it goes right to your store landing page.

Somehow, you aren't doing it right (browser related issue?)

I see the same as @berserkerplanet, except...there seems to be something a bit strange about your store. I have sent out a question about what I see. I will let you know when I receive an answer.

In short, when I look at one of your items, then scroll down to the Category list, and click on 'Store home', I get a url that I am not accustomed to seeing.

Old store url - www.stores.ebay.com/storename - this is now redirected to the following...

New store url www.ebay.com/str/storename

That is normal. All Store subscribers should be changing the old urls to the new, to avoid the redirect.

But your 'Store home' link sends me to www.ebaystores.com/storename. I think this is a very old stores program. This may be the custom stores that ebay is trying to eliminate.

Yes, this is a different url from any I've seen, but now it's functioning

Maybe they are just coding? Now that I think of it, this started after I upgraded my store from Basic to Premium. Now I see if I downgrade it, I will be charged hundreds of dollars because I went with the contract.

I do not think you are losing with the new store. Let's just find out what is happening here.

This may have connections with what others are experiencing. We will not know until we get to the bottom of it, if ever.

Does your store use a custom template?

Did you originally start with eBay Stores?
