This was fine as of yesterday. Now they are not at the top of the page.
If they are at the bottom, maybe, but the bottom of the page is unreachable due to new items constantly loading.
One has no idea where the item is.

It's at the bottom of the page. The problem with that is the nearly infinite scroll of sponsored ads before you finally get to that buried category path at the bottom.
To anybody frustrated by this, click the ? icon on the lower right of the page and use the submit feedback link. Ask eBay to restore the category path at the top of the page.

I cannot believe more folks are not frustrated by this. I am both a shopper and a seller. I used category path often to quickly get to where I wanted to be in order to view and search within a category when I found an item. I sent in my comment. so agitated now....

What frustrates me is to find the item I want to buy show up at a great price in a Sold/Completed search, after I've missed it not searching that category when it was available. Different category searches would find this. Gee, Thanks, eBay!!!
Why remove this valuable information for the buyers?????

I believe a great number of people are very frustrated by this.
I've personally seen MANY posts/complaints about this latest "upgrade."
Everyone PLEASE follow WastingTime101's suggestion and use the "?" to report your dissatisfaction errrr irritation with this change!

At the eBay Seller Check In yesterday, this topic came up and an eBay rep said they are looking into a new way to make the info easier to access.
My interpretation of that is they are not going to bring that simple breadcrumb path back to the top of the page, but are looking at other options. Hopefully the option will not require extra clicks to see the info.

That's great news!
If they could just do the placement somewhere above all the ads/links of products it would help.
It's ever expanding and we can never get to the actual bottom to see the cats.
Maybe just above or below the item specifics box?
Something, ANYTHING is better than the never ending scroll. LOL
