I get constant blue swirl when I view an item's photos.
See my snapshot below.
I have rebooted my iMac running Foxfire with the same results.
Has anyone experienced this?

Edit -- maybe not. Upon reloading the page appears that the spinner is not actually blocked by this rule.
If you have an ad blocking extension in your browser such as Ad Block Plus, try adding the following rule to your custom rules or your filter list:
ebay.com###viEnlargeImgLayer-progress-spinner
That should block the progress spinner from appearing on an enlarged image page.

Same problem, can't get an answer. I have windows 10. Posted about the problem and now can't find my post. Seems like most complaints are from people trying to post a listing not view a listing.

I have this problem on my iPad, it’s annoying. Been going on for 2 days

This is usually caused by a page element not completing and finish loading the page. Don't use mac stuff so I can't help further.

I'm a Windows user and experiencing the same thing! Relieved to see it's not just me but annoyed it's still not fixed after several days. Hope this goes away soon.

This seems to have fixed my issue. I am using uBlock Origin.
Thank you so much!

You are most welcome -- glad to hear that worked for you!
For some reason I am having problems getting that ad block rule to work in Firefox using Ad Block Plus. It seemed to work at first, but the spinner seems to come back on the next page. There may be something odd about my setup that stops the rule from working consistently.
It seems to work for me in Chrome for me, though.
I will try adding that rule to Ad Block or uBlock Origin and see if that works better for me. For some reason the point and click interface in those ad block extensions have problems picking out the spinner element; maybe if I add the rule directly it will be applied.
Edited to add: using that rule in uBlock seems to be working for me in Firefox -- thanks for the tip!

I've been experiencing the SAME thing this evening. Wasn't an issue before. Now all of a sudden it is. Haven't changed anything in my settings or ad ons, yet when I start seeking answers, other's have the same problem. This has convinced me that it's an issue within eBay and not my configuration. Hope it's gone next time I get on.

I don't have any Ad Blocking and I'm still having this problem. I noticed it Thursday (11/17) but not sure if I was even browsing eBay days before so I can't say for sure this has been going on for days.

If you can install an ad blocker in your browser, you can eliminate that progress ring by using a custom filter rule to block it.

I still get the same circle in Chrome and Windows. Customizing Ad Block is above my paygrade because I don't speak nerd. Why does Ebay not get involved when its' customers have problems? Too busy counting their listing fees I'll wager.
