I am currently unable to create a working "Codeless Coupon".

When I create a "Codeless Coupon" promotion, then view the generated URL for the promotion, it currently shows a "We couldn't find the promotion you requested for" error message/page.

I've used Codeless Coupons before without a problem. I today tried 4 different attempts with different criteria, but all result in the same error.

The coupons are showing "active" in promotions manager.

Is anyone else having this issue? ...Or is everyone able to create working Codeless Coupons?

Any guidance or info appreciated!

I have the exact same problem. I have tried to create a new coupon multiple times and the same result. Did you resolve your issue?

I almost forgot I had posted this until I saw your reply @meritsouthwest

I checked back and my promotion coupon had been generated.

I did a test right before this reply and it took about 20 minutes for the coupon to generate (and for that error message to disappear).

As you probably know, the coupons previously were nearly instantaneous, so this appears to be a change.

Perhaps codeless coupon promotions are now queued whereas they were instantly processed previously?

If this is indeed a change on how "codeless coupons" are processed, one suggestion would be to have the "processing" text added to the promotions listing dashboard, then change to "Active" when ready (just like the SE+M promotions do while they are processing).

As it is, the codeless coupons display "Active" immediately after creating them, although it appears they are not. Hope that makes sense but let me know if not. This is just some speculation and deduction from trial-and-error.

Hi @ritasloft, thanks for bringing this to our attention. I don't know if a change was made to codeless coupons that now results in a processing delay, though I do know that these coupons worked immediately after created previously. I'll report this and have it looked into further!

Thank-you brian@ebay. For what it's worth, prior to this post I created another codeless coupon promotion at 10:02 PT (Status showed in promotions manager as "Active" immediately), and at 10:19 it "went live" and the error message went away and items appeared as expected.

So at ~17 minutes for it to go active, I'm not sure how much that might vary by item count or other factors, but at least for me, they do not appear to currently process instantly.

Not a big deal for me, but if that's the new expected behavior updating the "Active" to "Processing" (and the error page to "processing") could potentially cut down on confusion and customer support inquiries.

brian@ebay FWIW I also experienced the same delayed processing result when creating a Shipping Promotion yesterday.

When viewing the Shipping Promotion after creating it, I received error page "We couldn't find the promotion you requested for." (yes, that's the grammar used on the error page -- not a grammar freak, I make many errors but I thought I'd point that out).

12 minutes later the Shipping Promotion I created was live and the error page went away.

I am not going to make a new thread for this.

Perhaps all the promotions are being queued for processing?

Or is it just a few of us encountering this issue?

One last thing I didn't mention, for over an hour I tried to edit a current Shipping Promotion yesterday and got the attached error page each of 7 times I "saved" it.

This seemed more along the lines of what I am coming to recognize as the 'normal' eBay site glitchiness, but it was quite frustrating, indeed.

I ended up having to nuke the Shipping Promotion entirely and start from scratch.

Then, when using fewer "inclusion rules" I was able to get the promotion to "take" (after the aforementioned processing delay with the error page mentioned above, it went live).

There does seem to be some sort of separate but related bug with either too many or perhaps how inclusion rules are included in the promotion manager to cause it to glitch.

I am getting the same message when doing a codeles promotion. This has to be a bug. Any help would be appreciated.

Agreed.

Codeless coupons seem to be queued or othewise delayed for processing again.

Until it's active, attempting to view the coupon results in the "We couldn't find the promotion you requested for (sic)." error page.

Codeless coupons don't work in google crome, IOS or Windows Explorer.

I created a codeless coupon using my firefox browser in my desktop. I tested it by clicking a listing that is part of my promotion and I see the message of the promotion and when I check the cart the discount is reflected in there. THIS IS USING FIREFOX.

I do the same test using my iphone (with safari and/or Crome) and the promotion is not offered and the cart doesn't reflect the discount. Same problem if I use my ipad or Windows explorer in my desktop.

Please help! I need this to work because I already marketed it to my customers.
